So your question is: 'How does being an eternal bachelor help or hurt your chances with girls?'

Well let me preface this by saying: who cares, you do what you want to do. I think you know this already but I just want to make sure.

From my experience, being an eternal bachelor increases your chances with girls IF they know other high quality girls (attractive girls) have liked you but you decided to pass on them.

You are basically demonstrating social-proof to the max.

What's really interesting is, average looking girls get rather intimidated when they find out beautiful girls were unable to win you over, and they often just give up.

Of course, the beautiful girls just view this as a challenge - so they will try to pull out all the stops to win you.

Also what gets you MAJOR respect is when girls find out that you passed on a girl even though she was beautiful, because her personality just does not fit you. It means you are 'highly selective.'

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
