do they look at it like we do? i play football and im pretty popular i guess but im kind of a goof ya know...i talk to much and im jus a goof but i dont try to be (around my friends) do girls see this when your not talking to them?

Not so much they look at it as a + if you are popular or a - if your a loner. Its not exactly equal if your a loner your most likely not gonna date in highschool. The reputation part is a question for a girl it depends what type of a girl if its a popular girl then she goes for jock/popular but if its a emo or goth or loner girl then she'll most likely go for the reputation that doesn't intimidate her.

It is all about status. Why are you supposed to act confident and ****y? Why are you supposed to be an *******? Why are you supposed to act like you are hot **** and you don't give a crap about anything? It is all to demonstrate that you have a high status. In highschool it can be further demonstrated by popularity. Yes, girls notice this.

so then what shud i do? i hang out with the popular crowd but i some of the kids are punks and will make jokes sometimes and do **** that pisses me off

example 1 of them beeped my nextel today after practice when i was gettin a ride home with an adult in the car and was like "x smokes weed! x smokes weed!" luckily the fone volume was low..

Popularity doesn't come from the attitude that says "I need to be popular". Rather, it comes from the "I know I can be" attitude. All you need is an adjustment in the way you think.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
