"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Public Service Announcement:

If you're going NC, today is no exception. I know some of you may be tempted to contact an ex or some girl it didn't work out with, or one who's just not interested.

Don't.

And don't respond to texts/calls from girls you shouldn't be talking to either.

'Happy Easter' (Merry Christmas, happy Vday, happy birthday, happy Halloween, happy Thanksgiving, etc etc) is innocuous enough, but it has the potential to lead you down a path you've been before, or shouldn't venture to in the first place.

I know some guys use the holidays to go fishing with a net, but really you're just wasting your time. A lot of girls will respond as a formality, but they don't really care to talk to you. If she won't talk to you on a normal day, this is no different. If anything, not communicating on this day will do you more good. If you're on her mind at all, she'll wonder why she hasn't heard anything, and if you're not, you can't force yourself in anyway.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I was almost considering this too. Nice work on reminding me. Gotta keep that AFC from showing up.

Great point. Last month I was thinking of crashing the church she was going to but I went to the new church I've started to going to. My folks say I'm way more positive and free approaching and introducing myself to other girls in the church I'm going to now than I was even when I was in a relationship last year.

Instead of looking at the past with my ex, I'm looking at how better the present is being single compared to how the past was while in relationship where I was a nervous wreck, strained, and didn't really talk to any girls apart from my ex and was always getting stressed if she is too light-hearted with another guy, etc.... It drains my energy level even thinking of going back.

In a sense, once I made a decision to dump my ex-girlfriend, and the way I dumped her, I nuked the bridge and entrance to the cave. There is no turning back now. It was a blighted relationship anyway.

Two years ago on Easter my then oneitis ex broke NC to wish me a happy Easter but I never replied. I never did see her again, and now she's married with a child. Looking back I honestly don't know what I ever saw in her, and wouldn't see her now if she begged me. But at the time she consumed my every thought.

It took a long time though. 9 more months. By then I had had another relationship and had sex with 2 other girls. One day I realized I was thinking about another girl instead (the third one after her), the one I'm still dating to this day.

Time heals all wounds, but the only cure for a woman is another (and better) woman. Happy Easter dj's.

On another note, I see that the girls are blowing up my inbox on my online dating site tonight. I wonder what it is about Easter that gets them all bothered about being single.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
