“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

So I've recently started a relationship with a girl I've been dating for close to a month. This is my first serious relationship. She's a girl to keep (hot as hell, not afraid of her sexuality, kind, funny, you know the drill) and so I need some tips on handling a relationship. I met her parents yesterday, it was smooth sailing; I liked them, they liked me! She met my parents a couple of days ago, no problems there either.

So, may I ask sosuave's members of your wisdom concerning relationships? Please share experiences, tips and so forth. :)

PS. I'm 18, she's 17.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Just remember, if it's your first, chances are that it won't be the last. Enjoy it while it lasts.

* Be the man - it's up to you to initiate EVERYTHING, no matter what she says

* Judge her by her actions rather than her words

And a few tips from the great Rollo Tomassi:

* NEVER, under pain of death, honestly or dishonestly reveal the number of women you've slept with or explain any detail of your sexual experiences with them to a current love (Iron Rule of Tomassi # 2)

* Any woman who makes you wait for sex, or by her actions implies she is making you wait for sex; the sex is NEVER worth the wait (Iron Rule of Tomassi #3)

* NEVER under any circumstance live with a woman you aren't married to or are not planning to marry in within 6 months (Iron Rule of Tomassi #4)

* NEVER SELF-DEPRECIATE under any circumstance. This is a Kiss of Death that you self-initiate and is the antithesis of the PRIZE mentality. Once you've accepted yourself as a "complete douche" there's no going back to confidence with a woman. Never appeal to a woman's sympathies, her sympathies are given by her own volition, NEVER when they are begged for. Even if you don't seriously consider yourself pathetic, it never serves your best interest to paint yourself as pathetic. Self-Depreciation is a misguided tool for the AFC, and not something a true DJ will ever consider. (Iron Rule of Tomassi #9)

Another one is:

No Girlfriend is ALWAYS preferable to settling for any girlfriend.

And the finally The Cardinal Rule of Relationships

In any relationship, whether romantic, personal, business or familial, the person with the most power is the one who needs the other the least.

Thanks for the replies! Runner83, you've got some great tips (The Cardinal Rule is f*cking gold), but I disagree with the "Never Self-Depreciate"-one. I self-depreciate myself (very rarely of course), and when I do, girls know I'm just fooling around. You can't take yourself seriously all the time; if you have a fun mindset, it doesn't cost you anything to make fun of yourself... sometimes. It all depends on the situation. :)

Thanks for the tips, keep 'em coming!

Easy. ALL GREAT THINGS END! All good things come to an end... Sorry for the negatives, but do not over expect. Do not become an AFC as we all have succumb to its self destruction. Be respectful of her and to your self. Remain a challenge and mystery. Don't be hen picked. If she starts doing stupid stuff, drop her before she controls you.

Keep all lines of communication open with her and always keep relationship interesting. Trust your gut, ALWAYS trust your gut.

SoldMySoul, thanks for your input! I've been trusting my gut since I began seeing this chick, and so far it's been smooth sailing, thanks to this simple little thing called "gut feeling". Often, the most simple advice is the best, but simple ain't always easy.

Keep 'em coming folks.

i agree with you crashdietguy..

nothing wrong with self depreciation as long as you do it in a fun way and if your deep down confident about what your joking about. makes you look more at ease with yourself.

your body language will show that you really dont mean what your joking about. just say it with a cheecky smile at the same time

relationships are not easy. just be prepared for lots of power struggles the whole time.
