"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

My gf of 3.5 years broke up with me 2.5 weeks ago. I have never done anything to hurt her and have always gone above and beyond to make sure she is happy. I would show up at her work with her favorite starbucks drink or snack. I would never forget her favorite types of flowers for the holidays. I am not trying to brag but I am a really down to earth guy who loves this girl. We are both currently in college but only 50 min apart. We grew up living only 7 min from each other and would spend so much time together.
During the 1st semester of college I would come down to her dances and simply to come visit her because i have a car and she does not. But this second semester she tells me that she wants to be single. She told me that she wants to be alone, not with another guy alone. I was hurt, I cried so hard when she told me this and I told her can we talk about it and try to work on this but she told me her decision was final. We are both honest with one another and i know she was not talking to anyone else behind my back. She simply wants to experience college and i tried to tell her i am perfectly fine with her going to dances and formals if i cannot attend but she still would not change her mind. I told her i am not going to hook up with any girls and i am going to wait for her to clear her mind and i told her she is going through a phase which i call the freshmen mentality. She said she wants to experience college and later when "she" is ready we can work on things. She said i am doing this for me and i love you to death and im willing to risk losing you. She told me that if i have my arms open and still want her back she would love that but if i have found someone else that is her loss.
6 days after the breakup she went to two different formals and is talking to one of the guys still and on that 6th day at the formal she made out with this guy. I was hurt but nothing i can do. She had him walk her home 5 days later when she was drunk and he slept in her bed but they did not doing anything besides kiss. I tried to tell her that she said to me she wanted to be alone but is covering her feelings with this other guy. She even admitted that he is not the best looking but he is easy to talk to. She said she is "impressed" by him bc he had a 4.0 in HS, is in a hard program at college etc.
I have tried to explain to her that you have a great relationship here under your nose and it is not worth that high of a hookup for losing this. She agreed but she feels like this is something she has to do.
we still talk here and there because she has helped me through a lot with parents divorce and death in the family and i want to convince her that she only has a month of school left and i don't want her to talk "seriously" to this kid or have sex with him. How can i tell her not to do either one of these and just be good friends with him and to wait until summer so we can spend more time together and fix this.
My roommate/best friend from HS dates my ex gf's best friend. I have talked to her and she is 100% on my side and believes she is making a mistake as well. She told me my ex loves me but wants to experience college. My roommates gf has told me that any girl would die to have me once they get to know me and can't believe she is willing to risk this.
I am currently pledging a frat and i feel like i didn't give her the attention she deserved. I told her i am willing to do more to come see her and for her to come see me.
How can i convince her to come back to me or simply to wait until summer to fix things? I miss her and love her to death. I know i am only a freshmen in college but i love this girl to death and i know that this relationship is something special and i don't want to lose it or get friend zoned.
Any help on how to convince her to at least let us work on things and not get involved with this guy??

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

None of this is good. This stuff played a part in her breaking up with you.

But this second semester she tells me that she wants to be single. She told me that she wants to be alone, not with another guy alone.
She wants to be able to fvck guys in college. I'm in my second semester of college too, and trust me, old HS relationships never last longer than a couple of months at best in college. They see all these other girls having fun getting fvcked by random guys and they want to join in the fun.

I was hurt, I cried so hard when she told me this and I told her can we talk about it and try to work on this but she told me her decision was final.
You crying and begging for her back pushed her away even more and convinced her that she made the right decision.

She said she wants to experience college and later when "she" is ready we can work on things. She said i am doing this for me and i love you to death and im willing to risk losing you. Don't accept this. She's basically putting you in the friendzone while she will be out riding c0cks like a pony.

She had him walk her home 5 days later when she was drunk and he slept in her bed but they did not doing anything besides kiss.
Trust me, they fvcked.

She's a grown ass woman and will do whatever the hell she wants. Right now, she wants to fvck other guys, which is what she doing. You whining and begging her to take you back is making her want you less and less.

How can i convince her to come back to me
Move on. If you sit there trying to convince her to come back to you she won't do it. You can't logic a woman into wanting to be with you. That's not how it works.

I am currently pledging a frat
This is what you need to focus on. Don't stop doing something you're interested in just because you want to get back with some girl. Trust me, this relationship is meaningless and in ten years, you will look back on this and laugh. You two aren't going to get married and live happily ever after. In the long run she will just be some skank who dumped you to ride the c0ck carousel. Move on with your life and stop contacting her. I repeat. CUT ALL CONTACT WITH THIS B!TCH. If she contacts you, don't respond.

Get into that frat, go to some parties and start fvcking some chicks. You'll forget all about her in due time.

Also, you REALLY need to read the DJ Bible...

thanks I appreciate the advice. My friends tell me to suck it up and look around because we are ranked in the top 5 for hottest girls. I don't want to be with someone else but I think just going out and maybe hooking up with one of these girls will change my perspective about this girl.
thanks again

Oh my Lord, just when I thought things were getting intolerably boring around here...

OP, you need to stick around here and have your eyes opened. The light will hurt your eyes, and you will never look at the world the same way again. Never again will you fall victim to a woman like this.

Start reading the DJ Bible, then graduate to the Book of Pook. I could write volumes more but you need to start with baby steps. You have stumbled upon a resource that will unshackle you if you let it.
