"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Well very so often now i go to the school library to do homework. Often i see this peer tutor that is there . Shes like a 6/7 in my book, but i think there is something about her that interests me. Ive seen her giving me IOI a few times this week. I asked her for help, started a little convo but didn't get to properly introduce myself. So i feel like i ripped my self off by not approaching her. Now my gameplan has changed , i need to find another way to get to her and work my magic( if i have any )

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You did approach her man. Count that as a victory for having the balls to do it in the first place!

Just because you didn't introduce yourself on the first interaction isn't the end of the world. Do it on the second, or the third. Or wait until she asks. It's not THAT important until you really want to start ramping up the game.

And if you are worried about looking dumb by introducing yourself second time around; Just start chatting to her, then bust out a "Sorry, I lost your name..." When she introduces herself, you can flip it back.

From there, just continue as you would. You're doing fine.
