I haven't noticed this, but I've always tended to feel more "alive" in the fall and winter, for whatever reason. There could be some correlation to the way women dress with you, they're more covered up in the fall. I know it's an eye opener every spring when you start seeing the girls running around in their short shorts and skimpy clothes, it's one of the marks of spring.
