The red pill is a metaphor for the truth. It means that everything you've been told is a lie. The red pill exposes you to what reality really is. On forums like this it means finally understanding how dating, women and relationships really work as opposed to what you've seen and been told in the media and while growing up.

Oh and yes, it's a Matrix reference for when Morpheus asks Neo to choose between the blue pill (which will keep him locked in the Matrix) or the red pill (which would allow his escape into the real world).

It's sort of like Plato's cave allegory.
Basically, some guys way back were born in a cave and were too scared to leave.
They saw shadows on the walls of the cave, and that's all they knew about the world. They could believe the shadows to be whatever they wanted, and made them into things very far from reality.
That is the blue pill.
"Ignorance is bliss"

Eventually, one of the guys built up the courage to leave the cave and discovered the reality of the shadows. It was a lot different that the perceptions he had based on just the shadows.
That is the red pill.

He goes back into the cave and tells the other guy about all the crazy stuff he saw (SoSuave), but nobody believes him. They have their perceptions, and in their mind they want to believe they are right (male feminists, white knights).

In terms of SS, the red pill is the truth about women. The blue pill is what we are TAUGHT about women, by society and media.

IMO redpill woman more or less it just means these woman have "dj/game" awareness. These woman will NEXT you fast if you don't bring your "A" game to the table.

I have a plate/fwb thats is a redpillwoman but she admitted she spends most time in the redpill section. Open forum for all sexes to learn and understand relationship dynamics. I haven't spent a lot of time on there. It seems like the majority range from 18 to late 20's maybe?

The layout of the website is alright with multiple links to manosphere websites. Rollo stuff etc
I enjoy SS better for the MDJ opinions and advice, just my 2 cents.
