Red 'spots'/rash only on tricep area?

I have red 'spots' on the tricep area of my arms, they're not itchy or irritated, but they've come and gone for years now.

Looks like a mild heat rash and each 'spot' is only around the hair follicle.


Any ideas?

Do you remember lifting anything while wearing a sweater?

Always wear t-shirts or nothing to lift.

Thing is I've had them at times when I've not even lifted for a while.

I'd guess it's either bed sores, or from heavy lift that your had to use your chest to do...

I've got the same thing on my arms from tipping a 500# skidoo uphill. looks like a rash, and there are small red marks concentrated in one area...

is it always present on your arm... or only when you lift, exersise, etc..

I usually get my arms waxed, because whenever hair is present i'm more likely to get acne/pimples. And I get the same red spots you are talking about, I know a fair few people who have them too.

It's called sun rash. It's harmless but kind of unsightly. I have it too.
