Red Sox Fans: How do you put up with Manny Ramirez?

Some things I hate about Manny:

1.) Stands there and watches his homeruns like he is God.

2.) Jogs for balls in the outfield.

3.) Pushed a 64 year old man of the Red Sox organization to the ground for not getting him enough family tix.

I also heard the other night he was benched, but then got called in for a pinch hit and took three strikes without even swinging (probably on purpose).

This guy is clearly all about himself.


The Yankee organization would never put up with any of that non-sense. Just look what happened to a-holes like Gary Sheffield and Raul Mondesi, the Yanks got rid of them.

I do think Francona and Wakefield are class acts though.

They seem to put up with having an admitted steroid user on the team like Giambi and having a playoff choker like A-Rod no problem.

The bottom line is that a guy like Manny puts up big numbers every year and if they have to deal with some b.s so be it. If Manny starts putting up avg numbers and the team stopped winning then they might not put up with his antics.

The Yankees owner constantly makes comments that make him look like a clown. They also just recently signed Sidney Ponson, who was released from the Texas Rangers for "disrespectful and adverse reactions to situations unbecoming of teammates".

If Shawn Chacon was any good at baseball, the Astro's may have had more patience with him too.

Well have you ever seen a Manny homer? They really go a long way especially when they go above the green monster. I'm from New York, but I can't hate on Manny because I would probably do the same thing. Manny knows his value to the red sox that's why he does what he wants. Stuka you can learn a thing or two about manny.

I thought the Boston Herald was going bankrupt. It was funny how the NY Post would still sell out faster in Boston than the Boston Herald.

I went to Simmons College in Boston, great city, although I had to see all the Anti-Yankee stuff wherever I went.
