You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
the question is actually WHAT she wants to keep him around as.GS750 said:Exactly. Seems that she wants to keep him as an orbiter. But why?
woah.... 7 months? it's been ages! nothing to worry about. any feelings are probably dead and buried by now, if you had to worry she'd have dumped your ass for him months agoTechnics said:What do I do? Do I break up with her? Keep in mind these texts were 7 months ago and I'm not sure if they have been in recent contact.

it's hard to go ghost when they just moved in together. :crackup:Technics said:we have just moved in together
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
They are on her macbook (synced with iPhone) so all texts are on her computer. She can send texts through laptop or phone and they show in both locations.Peaks&Valleys said:How are you copying these texts?
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Can you tell how often she's visiting your Facebook page? If it's less than she checks his, that can't be a good sign. If she's checking up on him at least once a week you can be damn sure she thinks about him a lot more.Technics said:UPDATE:
She's been viewing his Facebook at least once a week.. No contact though. He has had a new girlfriend for awhile too.
Not gonna lie, it's bothering me and it makes me think she's not over him..
Either they may have died down or they may have intensified.devilkingx2 said:woah.... 7 months? it's been ages! nothing to worry about. any feelings are probably dead and buried by now, if you had to worry she'd have dumped your ass for him months ago
