"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I have a question...

If you're friends with a girl... I mean you have sex but it wasn't any good so you just carried on doing bf gf things... like chill with the parents or share in a favorite hobby... if you have that type of relationship... and then the girl suddenly out of the blue... like just two weeks prior to her telling you she has a bf you're out taking her shopping like husband and wife... is that new relationship a rebound?

My friend who has witnessed the relationship over time by listening to my rants tells she she felt something serious and she got scared and jumped into something that was fun and Flirty... my bad.. I smothered her... but that's another topic

Is it a rebound? Any thoughts?

P.S. she is very adamant about stating that the relationship is a friendship but over time she has said things or done things that make me think she likes me

She has introduced me to almost her entire family

I have met some of her friends

She has stood up for me to her friends

She has allowed me to sleep with her on more them one occasion but I haven't been the greatest lover

She has compared our relationship to her previous marriage

She completely trusts me or trusts me an extreme amount because she has admitted very deep secrets to me about herself

When harrassed after initially telling me about the new bf she got progressively more and more defensive ... and crazy.. saying things that were probably exhagerations or untrue just to get me to leave her alone... so my smothering must of got her to snap and do this... after a week of no contact she became somewhat normal again...

Another question

What do I do?

If I ignore her and stop talking to her she warms up over time... but when we talk and chill... if we can.. like we used to... we seem to get closer and closer...

The last message I received

I'm sorry but I really can't see you today

This is after I messaged her asking to see her, she said we could meet, I harrassed her with messages about how I love her more then the new bf, she basically ignored me for a day or two, then sent me that message when I asked to see her again

Help
PLEASE

Double P.S.

The only solid information I have on the new guy is that they only really hangout once a week and its probably purely physical because she spends the night

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
