Reasons for not having a serious relationship

So me and this gal were getting on quite well, we live quite far away and weve met once, so most of our chatting has been on phone/msn/texting

So tonite i was basically getting serious with her, telling her i wanted an honest answer does she wanna meet up etc

she said she didnt feel comfterable coming down on her own (last time we met was with her friends) so we should just leave it

i said well no worries, but just want you to know that your not some gal i wanna hook up with, i actually like you

she said she didnt wanna ruin a friendship with a relationship that wouldnt work because of distance

she said it would be fun for one day but thats it

i asked if distance was the only reason she said

No its because of (our mutual friend) (because basically shes the reason we met and she likes me 2), because its the hardest year of her life (exams and last yr at skool) because she doesnt want another serious relationship after the last one (bad break up) but distance is the main one

so basically it doesnt sound like it was anything to do with me but if a gal gave you any or all 4 of these reasons as a reason why she doesnt want a serious relationship what would you think?
