Why not just get both?

That trailer for FF13 looks awsome - the combat is REALLY fluid and dynamic. I've always been a big fan of the FF series, but I'm really looking forward to this one.

I say buy each system also. Hell, the only reason I keep buying the Nintendo platform is for Zelda and I'm doing the same for PS3 for Final Fantasy.

The 360 is getting some kick ass games too, including some promising RPG types. I have always loved the FF series, but I'm willing to give the Xbox titles a shot.

I'll probably end up purchasing a PS3 too. Nothing wrong with having both of them. The 360 satisfies my next gen fix now

**** sports video games , wanna play sports get your ass outside like normal people , games like metal gear solid and final fantasy are the reasons to even buy a console like ps3 or the 360....

the ff movie , well its not gonna be entirely like in that movie cuz thats just what the guys who made ff advent children made as a preview of what will probably be possible on the ps3 , for the game itself theyve just started designing and creating a story for it , i heard theyr bringing back the guys who used to make the good final fantasy games none of this prepubesent tranny male characters kiddie like world , its gonna be a hard game with grown up action and story....and it probably wont be out till another three years so no need to be rushing to buy the ps3 right after its out....

Their specs differ so little.


But we'll never really know until the PS3 comes out.

I say return it. Make the decision when they're both out and compare them to each other.

Both those systems are overpriced and don't even do anything new. Screw Killzone 2 and Halo 3, has anyone seen Red Steel for Wii? You literally shoot and slash enemies with your hand with the freehand motion controller, firing a gun and swinging a sword like you would in real life. Wii is also like less than half the price of Xbox 360 and PS3. Look it up! Hopefully I don't end up wanting a PS3 ($600 US is f*cking insane for a game machine), but I probably will eventually if it delivers some awesome racing games if I can't get any on Wii.

I do get my ass out like normal people. i still enjoy playing sports video games as well. you get some tourneys going with your friends, play some madden, nba live, ncaa march madness, baseball etc. Sometimes the Dynasty/Franchise modes are the only reason i rent/buy the games.


I do enjoy the occasional RPG game though, but I'm pretty picky about that stuff.

True, most of that FF movie was CGI, but it did show a little gameplay. The parts where there's the damage numbers has to be the actual fighting system. That's what I was commenting on - the combat looks really nice. I haven't had a huge problem with any of the stories in any FF (well, maybe 8, if you go by FF standards. But 8 is still lightyears ahead of most RPGs in storyline).

FF12 isn't even out yet in the US, so you're probably right that it's going to be awhile for 13. But I'd say closer to a year and a half to two years US release.

xbox 360 is definetly having good releases! (if u reely want to trade it in) wait until ps3 comes out
