Reading IOI's

One thing I have trouble reading is IOI's. I hate to get blown out or have bad sets as this affects my mood adversely, and often leads to me wanting to go home. Therefore, I prefer to act on IOI's.

Here's one I THINK is an IOI. What if a girl positions herself next to you, then stares over her shoulder IN YOUR DIRECTION but NOT INTO YOUR EYES? Thanks for all your help.

Hmmm....that's an interesting one. I think that if she does that, you should try to catch her eye, and gauge her reaction. The way I see it, if she's interested, she should make some kind of sudden movement, or her facial expression should change.

Yeah, I've tried staring right into her eyes. These girls will continue staring right past you...frozen in motion.

Smiles and eye contact seem pretty minimal as IOI. If you're not getting at least that much ioi from one girl, then it is a lot easier to move on to one with whom you do.

you're overanalyzing too much at the beginning. it's difficult to read a girl correctly until both of you have opened your mouth. some girls have bad body language, others are in their own world until you snap them out of it by bringing them into your frame

but if you're gonna look for IOI's at the beginning, don't use basic body language, look for behavior that's out of the ordinary because of your presence - IE the girl's suddenly nervous, she's trying too hard to ignore you, she's on the phone and starts talking louder and glances in your direction because she's trying to show you she's a social person, stuff like that. the context proves she's reacting to you
