So I came across this website called badasschick.com the other day and all I have to say is "wow".
I say "wow" because I found articles there about what genuine, self-confident, loving, caring, etc. (the kind of girl I want) is looking for in a guy. It was truly eye opening for me, even after reading all the stuff on this website.
I think it goes without saying that sometimes we feel like we got the short end of the stick by being guys because they call all of the relationship shots and they get to be all young and hot and unless a young guy has lots of money, it's going to be a lot harder to get that honey (for a relationship at least). Well here's the thing, she's got standards as high as us. The girls we have relationships with are usually at about our level in terms of beauty and self esteem with respect to our promise in the world. If you sit on your ass and watch TV a lot, even if you do have a girlfriend, she won't work as hard to please you. All they want is an independent (<-- this means money), self-confident, and genuinely hard working man. Girls will throw themselves at you if you are this kind of guy because believe it or not, this kind of guy is rare. Most guys, lets just call them AFCs, don't work hard on themselves and consequently, don't attract beautiful girls with a strong sense of self. A good girl/woman will inspire her man only if she genuinely believes in him. And the only way she is going to believe in him is if he shows her that he has what it takes to succeed in this world. (<--this means money) From what I have gathered from this website I just came across, its not having money that girls necessarily want, it's the ability to make it. Empower yourself (<--this means that you should give yourself the ability to be financially independant) and girls will love you for it. Only then will we get poontang.
