Two and a half years ago when I weighed 267 pounds I started walking. My goal was to build up my stamina slowly to the point where I could run a mile without stopping.

I achieved that earlier this year. So I set a new goal of 3mi no walking. Done. And this week I hit 5mi no walking. I was amazed how fast I progressed from 3 to 5 miles. I think it is due to more full body compounds like squats and deads in my lift routines have made my legs and core stronger. I also changed up my cardio to be walk once, run once, sprint once each week.

Anyway, it felt good to hit the new milestone. I don't have any desire to go farther.

Next up: bench my own bodyweight for a full set. I am 15lbs away....

Great job dude, breaking personal barriers is what it's all about.

How many reps do you consider a 'full set?' 10?
