"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

In the film ROCKY, our hero breaks like, 7 eggs into a jug & downs them all... RAW.

Why does he do this? Are raw eggs actually good for you? are they better for you than cooked ones?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I wouldnt be worrying too much about the whole raw egg salmonella thing.

When you carefully analyze the risk of contracting salmonella from raw eggs, you will find that it is actually quite low. A study by the U.S. Department of Agriculture earlier this year (Risk Analysis April 2002 22(2):203-18) showed that of the 69 billion eggs produced annually, only 2.3 million of them are contaminated with salmonella.

So simple math suggests that only 0.00003 percent of eggs are infected. The translation is that only one in every 30,000 eggs is contaminated with salmonella. This gives you an idea of how uncommon this problem actually is.

but why even risk it?

what is the point of eating raw eggs? If you can show me where it says that raw eggs are better than cooked eggs....I'm all ears.

Well, why don't you click on his link, silly!

It says some aminos are denatured by cooking the egg. Not a big deal, maybe theres more to it. Go there and check it out.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Your body can only assimilate about 30% of raw egg protein while the body can utilize around 80% of cooked egg protein. It has to do with the structural properties of the egg protein.

You can drink more protein than you can eat. I'd recommend drinking whey shakes instead. It's easier on the budget and doesn't taste like raw eggs.

Also, raw eggs are just quicker to eat: when was the last time it took you 10 minutes to make a raw egg soufflé? Oh yeah: never.

Rocky didn't have time to mess around with butter and flavor and whatnot, at any rate.

The problem with drinking whey shakes at times besides postworkout or breakfast when a quick flood of amino acids is required is that your body is only going to use roughly 30% of the protein to aid in protein synthesis while the other 70% or so will be burned as energy due to the short half life of whey protein. At most other times you want a slow burning protein which will have a sustained release of amino acids into the blood stream such as egg protein, casein, or meat proteins.

It's better to cook eggs because the heat breaks down the long chains of protein and they refold into more complicated chains, which is what happens with curds (cottage cheese) and yogurt (although this is done with bacteria).

More complicated chains means better protein.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Hold on, hold on. Half-life of whey? Like it's radioactive and randomly shooting electrons and splitting its nucleii? I'll give you a chance to explain yourself before I make fun of you.

Actually, according to chemical/physical entropy, everything will eventually reach the same inert state sometime down the road. Maybe whey will be inert sooner than "normal"?

Still not much of a call for a "half-life": it's not "radioactive".

A "half-life" is the amount of time it takes for half of a substance or entity to undergo some specified process. In nuclear chemistry, (radioactive) half life is defined, for a simple radioactive decay process, as the time required for the activity to decrease to half its value by that process. However, the phrase "half life" can be applied to other things aswell, such as the biological half life of a substance refers to the "time at which the amount of a biomolecule in a living organism has been reduced by one half". The phrase "half life" has also been used in finance and marketing :

"In marketing, half-life is a formula for estimating the total responses to be expected from a direct marketing campaign. The half-life of a catalog is the day when half of the consumer responses to the mailing have been received. Sears Canada studied the history of their sales data and found that their catalogs reached their half-life 20 days after being mailed, although the life of the catalog was actually several months. Knowing when a direct marketing campaign reaches the half-life point allows marketers to adapt more quickly to consumer demand. "

"In finance, the half-life of a mortgage is the date when half of the principal amount has been paid. Because of the way that interest is pro-rated (as a proportion of the total, paid more towards the first part of the life of the mortgage), the mortgage half-life date is generally more distant than the chronological half-way point in the total life of the mortgage. "

So you see, the term "half-life" does not only apply to nuclear chemistry but has been adopted by other fields of science as well. And if you do a search on google or wherever, you WILL see that proteins (casein, egg, whey etc) do have half lifes(a certain number of hours i think). I guess you can forego making fun of me. :D Peace.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Jesus christo whats wrong with this health forum? why is it that only mr boobs has heard of www.mercola.com. last time I checked, theres a fare share of articles on the benefits and safety of raw eggs - and directions on how to make sure the eggs are free of salamonilla - which for the record, is the wussiest of all bacterias, all you'll get is the craps.

"Dont be a foo - go to www.mercola.com and get the real deal on raw eggs" - Mr. T in a dream of mine a few weeks ago.
