"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

So let me give you all some background information before I jump into this suprizing conversation I just had. I was thinking I could use some DJ info for my next step, or, if I bombed, on how to do better next time.

Alright, so my friend throws a birthday party at this bar two weeks ago and since him and most of our friends are underage, we all went and had a blast. Late in the night, when I was really gone, I started singing karaoke and really it hit off with some girl. Although it's kinda blurry, I remember singing, dancing, and doing a little bit of C&F on the girl, before she "needed" my number.

On the way back, I lost her phone and used it as a good way to call her, you know, in case she didn't remeber me or something. So I called the day after, and then three days after, each time with the voice mail, and all I did was say "Hey - It's Evan. Just checking if you've seen my phone. Hit me back."

So tonite, I'm on the computer, relaxing, and my phone blows up, it's that girl. Then the conversation goes like this:

Me: Hello?

HB8.5: Hey!

Me: Oh hey, is this the girl that took my camera?

HB8.5: Haha. Yeah, it's Donna.

Me: Haha. Good, I'm glad you finally were willing to give me the camera back.

HB8.5: What?! I didn't steal it.
Me: You sure? I'm swear you were the last one to have it.

HB8.5: *laughs harder* No no, I'm sure you dropped it in the car.

Me: Nah, I think someone would have told me.

HB8.5: *Laughs* Sureee.

Me: Well, I still think it was you. But what's good?

HB8.5: *laughs* What is this some sort of pickup line?

Me: Nah, I just really wanted my camera, *sarcastic* I'm nothing without it.

HB8.5: *laughs* Yo! I didn't take your camera and why would I take it and I can't believe you said that! I have plenty of cameras at home so why would I take it! You're such a jerk!

Me: Ha. I suppose.

HB8.5: Well, I was just gonna call you to say hi, but you're number was so far away, so I hesitated.

Me: But now it's a good enough time?

HB8.5: *suprized* Yeah.

Me: Aww, that's cute.

HB8.5: *laughs*

Me: Well, I don't wanna waste any more of your minutes, so I'm gonna head to bed, I got a mad early trip tomorrow.

HB8.5: Uh, alright.

Me: But if you wanna give me one of your cameras-

HB8.5: Nah! They're like my family!

Me: Alright, well, I'll talk to you later.

Granted, I think this went real well since I'm a bit toasted, although I could have carried the conversation stronger or something.

Does anyone else have any advice?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

6.5 out of 10.

You did a good job when she asked ya about this being a "pick up line".....but I would have said "I don't pick up chicks under 5 ft 5 that take things without asking....let's say a camera, for example haha"

It was decent....when she called ya a "jerk." You could have said "Jerk? haha, look who's talkin! at least I don't steal people's cameras! haha"

Me: Well, I don't wanna waste any more of your minutes, so I'm gonna head to bed, I got a mad early trip tomorrow.

Don't apologize for wasting minutes....You could have just done a simple, "I got to go" or "I need to go...by the way, if you need a job, ask kodak..and tell them about your relationship with stolen cameras, they'll hire you"

When you asked for your camera and she said no..you should have said "I know and right now you have one of my family members.....so I'm taking two because I can";)

Good Luck:cool:
