I have some stuff I want to say that I have realized over the years, specifically the 6 month Heitis I took from this site traveling around the world.
1) Before you get serious about any one woman, get out of the country.
See what else is out there, and I don't mean in the sense of go to different clubs, go to different bars. Save up some money. I've been to 5 different countries in the last 6 months (France, Columbia, UAE, England and South Africa). I had been planning my trip to France for 3 years, and I learned to speak fluent (at least to the point where I can hold a broken conversation and feel somewhat comfortable, and ask for directions) France. Look at the different women. See what's out there. I saw some of the most beautiful women in the world. It really puts everything in prospective, moreso than you could ever imagine. Then, the whole "will she call me" seems trivial once you literary see first hand how much of the world is left for you to explore.
2) Any person who has time to browse on myspace for 2 hours a day, isn't living life
The only time i have to come here is when I am doing research for work (which i have to wait for pages to load, video replays to load and such, and maybe for 10 mins or so before i head off to bed). I barely have time to date (which ironically, attracts more women and the time I do have I am never wanting for a date), I have to remind myself to call my mom once a week to check up on her, and I am lucky to get 5 hours of sleep. But the avg person here can squeeze 2-4 hours a day to get in myspace/facebook/whatever site you want to be in, not to mention internet porn. Fill your date with stuff. Do things. Get out the house. I wake up at 7am everyday and I'm in non stop go until about midnight with the occusiaal date in between. How do I meet women? I run into them.. banks, horse track, bars, restaurants, doctor's office..wherever. if you have your **** together, opportunities pop up. it's when you don't have your stuff in order that you have to search for opportunities.
3) Intelligence is sexy
This might fall upon deaf ears, but this is the best trait you can have. Assuming you have your **** together, intelligence is what drives women wild. The ability to talk about anything. The (functional) use of an extended vocabulary. What do you learn about? What interests you? i have two real passions in life.. Horse Racing and I have a thing for history, for some reason Russian Mafia history in particuarl.. don't ask why, I don't know either. Nothing I can't tell you about the Russian Mob. Anyway, I have no problem at ALL sitting at home reading a book, because I am not reading a book to better myself for women, I am reading about something I am truely interested in learning more about. Keep up with current events. If for any reasons for the simple reason that you pay taxes and it's a good idea to know where your tax dollars are going. Speaking of, Do some research on the Federal Reserve and see who everyone is getting ****ed by the Federal Reserve Act.
Know your history. Know your beliefs. Ask the avg person why they are the religion they are and they will either come up with some blabber or tell you 'they were raised in that church. Upon me reading the bible from cover to cove and doing some other research, I became an Atheist. I'm not saying that's why you should do, but if I never would have took the time to see who I was giving 10 percent of my money to and why, and what they stood for and what they believed in, I never would have come to that conclusion.
4) Like attracts Like
This sorta ties in with the post above. You can't sit at home, play God of War all day (although tempting), not workout and expect a good looking woman with a good job on a good career path that's well educated to look at you and say "damn, that's my man right there". Then those same guys come here, looking for quick fixes or the magical lines or peacocking techniques to get these woman, and wonder why they fail.
The more time I invest in myself, the better quality of woman I ended up sleeping with. Women I used to mess around with I wouldn't go out in public with now. I used to obsess over my old onetis, now I don't even answer the phone when she calls.
I mean these are things you should be doing because you want to be the best person you can be, but a higher grade of woman is a nice bonus.
5) When you are not complete, or not on the path to being complete, you look for opportunity, when you are complete, or are working to be as comple as you possibly can, opportunities have a way of finding YOU
A question I get alot is "how do you approach women?"..uh.. I don't. They either approach me, or they make it so ovbious that they want me to talk to them, they take the guesswork out of the equation. I mean, if I see a woman that peaks my interest I will start a convo with her and if I like the vibe I am getting, I'll ask for her number, if not, I will let her be on her way, but more times than not, I don't get appraoched (sometimes I actually do) but women make it so damn clear (if you know what to look for) that they want you to talk to him it takes any of the guesswork out of antyhing.
I was in Rome 2 months ago for a visit, my first time there. I had become friends with this guy there who spoke fluent English. I can speak French, but I can't speak Italian to save my life. So this woman comes up to me while we are having coffee and asks to sit with us. Mind you, I have no idea what she is saying, so my friend stayed and basically translated our conversation for me. After about 30 minutes of this, I told him to tell her that I think she is very attractive, and I would like for her to come to my hotel with me (what did I have to loose.. shoot she might actually say YES)... she did. I ended up having sex with this woman and didn't say one word to her.. because I couldn't. About a week ago I got asked out by a woman that works in the bank I use. I've recently been seeing an attorney whoose actually not that older than me. She didn't ask me out but she made it clear that she could be had. There is a woman that says about 2 blocks from me that i met about a month ago that is in her mid 30's, and it's nothing but sex. Works well for both of us.. nice body, long legs, recently divorced career woman, works all the time, but needs to do stuff sometimes... might see her one or two times a week. I met her walking my dog in the morning.
A Byproduct of this are women that I actually end up turning DOWN or saying I don't have the time for..including my old oneitis, who is still extremely easy on the eyes, but compared to the class of women I deal with now (plus her being my old oneitis) doesn't bring much to the table outside looks...that and she is now half way across the country. I actually have to be pretty selective, i can't give what little time I have to EVERYBODY who asks for it.
5) Find something you are passionate about
Most people here have been here long enough to know my story, so I won't go into that. But Not only is Horse Racing my job, it's my passion. I LOVE the sport of horse racing. I'm passionate about my fav horses. I actually canceled a date 2 weeks ago on a Saturday night because Vengeance of Rain was racing in Hong Kong and it was showing on TVG.. i had no money on the race, but he is one of my favorite horses in the world and if I can watch him race, I watch him no matter what (my 5 fav horses being Vengeance of Rain, Invasor, Perfect Drift, magnificence and Asiatic Boy in there as well, might be the best dirt horse in the world, including Invasor...we will find out in October) Not only that, I am a member of the Grayson Jockey Club, I make monthly donations to the Jockey Club Foundation, and donate to different charities that help backstretch workers, who live off peanuts and most have very poor standards of living for following their passions.. for every Todd Pletcher there is a trainer that has to win a race to keep his lights on. I'm planning on making a general horse racing discussion forum (my new pet project) to get people of like interest togheter to discuss the sport. Anyone who spends more than 10 minutes with me knows that this is my passion, this is my life, and this is what I love and I have never been happier.
What I am getting at in regards to women, is that passion comes out, the look in my eyes, the tone of my voice, the smile on my face... When I was in Florida, I had a woman on the first date, after telling me before she got in the CAR to go to the beach with me, that we were not having sex, only 4 hours later end up in my hotel room, having sex with me, after hearing me talk for 30 minutes about horses. I brought up the sex about a week later and she said " I didn't plan on it, but after hearing you talk about that, you were so passionate...it turned me on and I got to thinking what it would be like to have sex with you"
I remember when I used to own my PC company, people asked what I did and I really didn't want to talk about it. Now you can't shut me up.
