"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I am going to try to post this in such a way that it doesn't come off like an ego trip because it's not.

There will come a point in your self improvement when slightly magical things will start to happen and you'll just be automatically attractive to a lot of women.

About six months ago was when the magic started to happen for me. It was after a lot of experimenting with C&F "lines", doing affirmations and NLP, changing how I talk to myself, changing my habits from video games to dancing and writing, changing who I hang out with, changing how I dress, changing my voice, ...

And then one day it dawned on me that this hot, sweet, absolutely perfect girl kept messaging me for no reason. It occured to me that she had even asked me out. I saw all of the signs that I didn't see before.

When I first saw this girl, I went home like an AFC and told my best friend how hot she was, how girly-girly sweet she was. When I first interacted with her, the only thought in my head was, "I wonder what lucky bastard will get to date her."

Fast forward to my day of realization. I sent her an email asking her out. She didn't respond for two days. I figured she had rejected me. I wanted to unsend the email. Then I get a message,

"Hey, sounds good. See you then!"

The hell? She accepted? Fast forward to the date. We're walking down the street, I was leading her around like I'd been taught, doing things with lots of action. I accidently brush my hand on hers -- an honest mistake -- and she grabs it!

Now we're holding hangs. Now she's leaning into me. I stop in the appropriate place, and now we're kissing.

My body went through the motions but my mind was spitting out ILLEGAL OPERATION. YOU ARE A NERD. YOU ARE DAYDREAMING. ERROR... ERROR...

Sure, I had been with other girls leading up to this one while I was practing all of those DJ skills and improving myself. But they were flawed individuals, people whom I considered practice.

This girl was too perfect. He face was too pretty. He body was too thin and too curvy. Her style was too feminine. Her voice was too sweet. He grip around my waist was too strong... I was pulling away and she was pulling me back... all of those internalized beliefs working for me in the moment... how could this be?

Yes, I continue on my life long quest for self-improvement, and I've been with other girls since her, but that moment remains the most special moment thus far in my life. Not because she was "so special", in retrospect, but because it wasn't random. It was planned. It was the pay off on all that effort. I knew how I got from point A to B, and from B to C. It blew away my first kiss, my first time having sex, because those were accidents. This was my real first kiss... the first one I had actually earned... with a girl who had actually earned me.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Sounds really great man! How did things turn out for you? Also, what did you do to improve yourself besides dancing and writing?

I actually do Salsa dancing and Trying to go the gym on a consistent basis to get into better physical shape. Anyways, your story was definetly an inspiration so keep on posting!

Well, for one thing, I'm still a scrawny bastard even though I go to the gym. It wasn't about the gym. Going to the gym is 5% of self-improvement. It's not explcitly about how you look, it's about how you take care of yourself.

I wear clothes that make me feel good about myself. If I feel like dressing up, I dress up. If I feel like dressing down, I dress down. If I want to buy a ring (my latest endeavor), I buy a ring.

I'm buying a ring because when I showed my friends the one I wanted, they said rings are "gay". So now I'm definitely buying one =)

I do Swing dancing, although I also know some basic Salsa. My hips don't naturally move like that =)

It took me a long time but now I'm pretty good at dancing. Girls love to be taught and it automatically keeps them in my reality. But more than anything, I just really love dancing. It gives me confidence. It gives me social experiences and connections. I get huge social proof from it because people look up to me.

Dancing, for me, is part of that 'pursue your goals' bit. I both lead and follow, meaning I dance with other men from to time. Asking other men to dance is the ultimate statement about being comfortable with your sexuality, trust me. Women really respect that, plus they see I'm not just dancing to pick up girls.

There will be people here who laugh at the above paragraph... it's resisting pressure like that to conform to social norms that builds respect. Anyway, it's actually a requirement to dance the woman's (follow's) part from time to time if you want to become a good lead.

A big, huge thing for me is realizing that ego is rediculous. Do you know how pathetic it is to want to tell everyone else how special you are? I'm just not that special. None of us is. And actually, by knowing that, it makes me special in the eyes of others. I don't suck energy out of the room by trying to force my retarded specialness on other people.

I just automatically unhook people from my life if they start living in the world of ego and negativity. It's actually really hard to find people who realize that we're all gonna die in the end and we should stop being so petty and self-absorbed.

I gotta tell you, I wake up every morning and I feel great. I'm single at the moment, but I just feel great. P ussy power doesn't really play a big role in my life anymore.

I don't claim to be perfect by any means. For one thing, I have tendancies now to be very judgemental of people who haven't followed the 'path' that I have and aren't even on it at all. I know it's not their fault and I keep telling myself that.

It's just I see/overhear people agonizing about the most rediculous things from my perspective, even here on these forums. It's as frustrating as seeing two hungry men fight over a slice of bread when if they would only look out the window, there's an entire grocery store.

Oh, and attitude wise, listen to the song "Follow Me" by Uncle Cracker. "I'll be the one to tuck you in at night... and if you want to leave, I can guarantee, you won't find nobody else like me."

The biggest lessons I learned were almost all in the book Radical Honesty by Brad Blanton. As far as I'm concerned, that book saved my life. Get it. Read it. Understand it. I can't stress this enough. That and David DeAngelo's advanced series.

Love the holy human prototype. We're all just scared little people putting up a persona, a front, that protects us from anxiety. Now when I look into people's eyes, I can see right through their persona. When they get angry, when they judge, I know it's all just fear.

I posted a while ago that sometimes I have trouble maintaining my state around HB10s. I don't have that problem now. I just look into their eyes and see the holy human prototype, the LSE little girl.

If we're to believe evolutionary psychology, men's behaviour has been shaped by the mate preferences of women in the past. It is not at all surprising, then, that the path to women and true happiness lies not with pickup lines and tactics, but with uprooting your whole life.

Men are built to do one thing and one thing only: attract women. Everything we are built to do is because women desired us to do it. So build your life, and women will come to you. They made the game and they built you to play it.
