"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Here's the text:
Hey Jonnyd! I don't know if you remember me, but we met at ******* quite a while ago. I know this is totally out of the blue, but I wanted to apologize for never getting back to you. I left the country right after that and it just completely slipped my mind. I'm really sorry! Anyways, I hope you are doing well!

Response? If at all. We met 6+ months ago. Hit it off, got her digits then she went rogue. Completely forgot about her but I guess I still had her # saved in my phone bc her name came up. Solid looks and extremely intelligent from what I remember, which I find sexy. Any thoughts?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

This is common. When you get a girl's number you are added to her list of potential mates, but you never enter at #1. You need to percolate up on the list. Regular girls will date between the top 2 and top 5 guys on the list. Hookers will date between the top 10 and top 20. All girls have a list. You never know your rank or their gamut, but if they ever initiate, know you are on their list.

6 months seems suspiciously long, so as GMMR alludes to, you don't want to seem like you were waiting for her the whole time.

But if you liked her then, it saves you the trouble of having to meet a new girl, so don't throw away an opportunity.

I find that this happens after 2 months very commonly. You want to collect a bunch of girls like this and you'll always have dates.

Tonight is my last night in Austin (only due to a mechanical failure or I would have already left). Four girls asked me out tonight (including Lexi under her real name). For the second time, I chose the same 21 year old stripper over her. Took her to a nice restaurant for seafood (our second date, the last one way back in May). You can pick up where you left off (and often increase things if you played her right) after several months. When girls return to you after a long hiatus, it only proves that even when hot girls are sufficiently attracted and there was no deal breaker, they are not always available. Apply this in reverse the next time a girl goes MIA. She'll be back.

Very solid advice. Now, how to approach such a message. I feel like a "who's this?" would demolish any sliver of rapport. Whereas blatantly coming out and saying "Hi **** I remember you," would also be devastating.

Looking for something in between those two extremes. Ideas?
