RAFC with a quick question

I was just wondering how you guys would react in this situation:

I was at the end of my shift and was about to go home. I said good bye to my co-workers at the same time noticeing a cute(but not really my physical type) standing at the foot of the line. As I turned to leave, my co-workers said their good byes. Then, that girl said goodbye to me. At this point, my mind started to race. I of course did not have much time. I was hopping that my saying good bye(at the time I did want get a reaction from her, even if my interest level wasn't that high) would get her to say something to me. Knowing that my time was almost up, and I was quite tired after a long days work, I waved back at her and said goodbye to her and I left for home. Now, I was thinking that I did well. That maybe I spiked an interest level with her and she definetly took the bait. Now, I am not going to over analyze this. I just felt that this was one good step from as a RAFC. I really didn't have the time to stay and chat and I was quite tired. However, I thought that it went well. And if I did spark an interst then it is possible she will look for me the next time she comes in. If so, she might approach me or I can approach her. Even if my initial IL wasn't high before, that doesn't mean I can't tryout some of the things that I have learned here.

So, how would you guys evaluate my preformance. I know it could use some work, but I would like to hear what you would have done instead or if you thought I did fine.

First of all, cut the analytic crap Well no, but don't over-analyze as you are =) It was just a wave... What you need to look for is her reactions to it Next time you see her, try and get some eyecontact inn and some good talking and see how she reacts and works that.

That's where you need to practice =)

If you are leaving and she is standing there looking at you say something like "Bye and don't look at my ass now " or something. She'll probably reply with "I won't!" you'll then go "Suuuuuure" or "You should now that you have the chance " or simular.

Ohh, I wish I had thought of that! I guess I'm just not used to saying things like that at work, especially with my managers around. Still, I bet I could say something like that but a little low key.
