How do you get respect from people that still view you as a boy or just don't give you any credit for your presence and ideas?
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Change your demeanor. Put more dramatic pauses and seriousness in your voice. Lower it some if you can. Your voice should resonate in your throat and chest. Talk less, but when you do, make sure everyone is listening. Be very confident and very attentive.

Your presence as a man depends on 2 things: your appearance and your demeanor. You can get a more manly appearance by doing all the things you normally would to become a DJ... put confidence into your voice tone, body posture/language, work out, etc. Your demeanor has more to do with your own confidence level and self image. Work on each one as necessary...

PEACEDJ is right, respect yourself and you will be respected, and before you do, you will get absolutly no respect. Besides if you go around looking for respect you'll never find it plus it is much too dependant on other people.
