"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So i work in Government, According to ABS statistics only 17% of Government employees are under the age of 35. I am the youngest person in my office by about two decades, it is absolute hell to try and socialise with middle aged people.

My job pays pretty decently and has some nice benefits but I cannot stand the fact that everyone around me is so old, A lot of people meet their spouse through work yet that is impossible for me. To put it into prespective, my manager for the christmas party suggested we go LAWN BOWLING.

A lot of these people also have no life outside of work, it makes conversations with them really mundane.

Has anyone here quit their jobs to be around people their age?
I had re-oriented my career so that I could GeoMax.

It's OVER for OldOfficeColleagueCels.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Fewer people meet their romantic partners at work.

Also, you're playing it wrong at work. Those people 20-30 years older than you have daughters, nieces, friends of daughters/nieces, etc. You could get a social circle setup that way.
While this is true, I can guarantee that you such a man would become a target of the fattest date setups ever.

If it is a good job and you can tolerate it this is a foolish decision. You aren’t at work to interact with women.
Why? You aren’t at work to make friends.
You spend half your day and most of your week at work, it's wise to find a job that isn't a waste of all your time and energy.

Finding a job that lets you meet girls and make friends while you earn money sounds extremely productive.

If you're at work to make friends and shag women you can say goodbye to a career, man. Bad idea. Keep your work and private life separate.
I agree.
Join some sport clubs or something and stop being so lonely. There are so many social clubs in our city.
And the women in those clubs will invariably be fat, harridan ... or even with Y chromosome.
You'll eventually get to my level where you just go out alone on the weekend for nightgame. That's how I roll now. Other people just slow me down. Become a lone wolf shadow of the night. But honestly, it great for your social skills. You're living in your head and online too much. Go out alone at night and you end up being forced to interact with people. I noticed when I go out with friends they always try to pull me into private conversations and try to weasel out of approaching new people.
I wholeheartedly agree that flying solo is preferable to only doing stuff if there is a friend to do it with. But as Aaron Clarey has repeatedly said, NightGame is a waste of one's effort (although GeoMaxNightGame could still be productive).

Although the example I'm about to share didn't happen at work, I was once offered a setup that was ridiculous. I was once offered a setup of a woman 6 years older than I am, who was long distance from me, a career woman, and overweight. I said no to that.

I've heard a few times in my 30s from women I knew (acquaintances) that I need to be open to dating single moms to expand my options. While the women saying this were well meaning, it came off as a bit insulting. I've stayed childless and that's been decent for my market value. Additionally, the lifestyle of a childless man (me) is much different than that of a single mom. It's a bad fit. I've stayed adamant about not dating single moms.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
