"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I was just reading the book "Snake Oil: Life's Calculations, Misdirections, and Manipulations" by Jim Rose and he has a bunch of cool tricks and swindles in it.

One that is very short to explain and could be used as part of a magic/psychic routine is the following:

Tell a girl to look at a calendar (could be on her cell phone, or could be one you have on you, etc.) and pick 3 consecutive days in any month and add up their values.

She then will tell you the SUM TOTAL and you will almost instantly tell her which days she picked!

Example: 54
Days: 17, 18, 19

How does it work? Whatever number she gives you, divide by 3. That will be the number in the middle, thus you now know all 3 days.

Cool huh?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I think it makes for some entertaining material to fill up the time.

It sure beats asking her if she has any pets or what she does for work as a routine.

Combine this with a few other magic tricks, perhaps a little bit of a psychic reading done via cold reading, and it makes you more interesting.

As part of my commitment to David DeAngelo's material for 90 days I've been taking his advice on never talking about anything normal.

It has worked out suprisingly well.

The obvious challenge is to fill up time with unusual or entertaining things to say, and I know that a lot of guys here are having a problem coming up with cool things to talk about too. So when I try something out or have a good idea I post it, to you know, share information and ideas. Thats kind of the point of this forum

So take your attitude to another thread.

I'm trying too hard? Well I am trying, I suppose. Then again aren't you? Isnt the very act of being on this forum that is dedicated to learning about women and how to win them over trying too hard? (given that there are naturals out there who never learn about any of this stuff and do fine)

It's basic math:

(X - 1) + X + (X + 1) = 3X

3X/3 = X

Yeah, you have to add 3 consecutive dates. You cant just say a random number or it won't work. For example the number 25 does not divide equally by 3, thats why there is no 3 consecutive dates that add up to 25.
