"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Since there's been so much crap on the boards lately, I thought I'd do a quick field report from last night.

I was with some friends down in Columbus OH, waiting to get a table for dinner last night. We were at this cool outdoor shopping/dining area that had all sorts of people walking around, beautiful women everywhere. I decided to kill the time (1+ hour wait) inside the bookstore, and decided while I was in there that I'd make my first serious attempt at sarging.

Most of the people there were couples, but I did spy a pretty tall girl, standing by the "Discount Books" and browsing the titles and holding a $3.99 discount book titled "Famous Irish Horror Stories" (no joke), which caused me to walk up and open:

ME: "So, let me gues...first story is the 'Horrible time that the beer ran out at the pub?"
HER: (laughing)

We talked, turned out she was a flight attendant from Atlanta, speaking with that oh-so beautiful southern belle accent. We chatted for about 10 minures before she dropped the "B-word" (boyfriend), and I decided it was probably better to punch out of the conversation. Tried for a number, but she thought her boyfriend wouldn't like it if she was giving that out to strangers.

Oh well...don't know why, but hooking up with a flight attendant just has some magical appeal to it.

Anyway, moral of the story: get out there and open with women...If I (the ultimate keyboard jockey) can, ANYONE can!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
