"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Now I understand why some people call you Doctor PRL! ;)

Perfect.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Dr. P, it's been on my mind still because people are just telling me I should call her. Her cousin (my good friend) wanted an update on the situation. I told him the story and told him I wouldn't call her. Her number is off my phone! He told me there could be three ways this could go around in the next few days

1.) I call her when she dosen't want me to, and she loses more respect for me. She cancelles again and I NEVER call her again.

2.) She's waiting for me to call and I call her. He tells me that she expects the guy to be agressive when it comes to her. (She's old fashioned, like I said before)

3.) She dosen't call when she said she will and expects me to call. I never call. We're both disapointed.

People are filling my head with doubts and anticipation. This is less about her and more about me. I don't think this was ever about her. I fucked up big time. What can I do? Go for it? Or just walk away? I've chosen to walk away, but people keep telling me I have a chance.

Doc, I might call her next Wednsday. Is that bad?

Not being rejected directly and bluntly always leaves the man in doubt - I understand your anxiety; however, you made 3v or 4 attempts over 5 weeks and no affirmation on her part - the odds of success are low if you call again. I know what you are saying, "The odds are low so that means I still have a chance!"

OK you lonely desperate bastard - in this LAST attempt the way you go about it should not be through a phone call but try to see her at a function or gathering place where you can bump into her and then see if she gives you any signals.

If you have a common acquaintance have him/her do some reconnaissance and see where she 'hangs' out and/or if they see her they should mention your name to her and see what her response is and her expression or lack thereof! More knowledge of her feelings and attitude will help save you embarassment and being overbearing!
