question on a series of txt messages (********?)

So my ex of 1 month and I exchanged some txt messages recently. can you figure em out?

It was late and there was literally nothing to do, so I txt her.

BigEeeZee: PLEASE tell me there's something going on tonight.
her: Not that I know of, I just got off work.
her: I still have some rum, we can make something go on tonight.
(think to myself Oooo...)
BigEeeZee: Well how much do you have?
Her: Enough to get us both drunk

Now is it just me, or does she really want me? I figured I could have cruised over there and seen what was up, but I was with two good friends, and honestly the way she has treated me in the past, there was no way I was gonna ditch them for her. So I told her that I was with them and she could meet us at my friends house. She came over immediately and the whole night it seemed like way back before we dated, when she liked me and I didn't know. It seemed like she was subtly trying to drop me hints like sitting next to me and hugging me etc.. I didn't act on them and paid her little attention. I think doing this in the first place is what is making her act like this.


So, expert DJs, I seek your opinion. Do you think she wants me? And if she does, should I make a move or just see what she does?

You have to be very careful with this situations. I would need more details on what type of girl she is in order for me to tell you whether she's an AW and she just wants to get laid, or if she truly regrets and looks back on the break up and wants you back. If you are not interested at all on her, make it clear unless you just want to fck her. Now, if you are interested in her, then make sure you don't act like as a** all the time because she might lose interest rather quick (but then again do not show you you are completely interested in starting anything else again because like I said, we do not know if she's and AW and she's testing you to see if she can get you back and then walk away). Women are confusing, they want what they can't have, when they have it they don't want it, we are rather moody and sometimes we don't even know what we want... is it our fault ? who knows?

Big Eee Zee: I think that HeartlessBtch's post pretty much hit the nail on the head... and just to add:

In many cases a woman will not appreciate what she has (the man) and then when she looses him she suddenly "clicks" that she lost him. At this point she will want him back. The tricky thing here, is that she could either be doing it because she might think that she "cant have you" which is something NO woman feels comfortable with (not being able to get someone), so she might do it to just prove to herself that she CAN get you.

That’s ONE case, the other case, is that she might actually genuinely want you back. But I think the best person to ask is her. She might be confused herself about it, and might not be able to give u a 100% answer, but she will tell you whets on her mind.

I think what you SHOULD have done, was at some stage of the night where she was giving u these "hints" to just turn around and ask her what she was doing... ask her why she was suddenly acting like this towards you after the way she treated u in the past... If its just sex that she wants, then if you want to, go for it and knock yourself out, if just sex with her is something u don’t want, then make it clear to her. If its something MORE (relationship) that she wants from you (or SAYS that she wants) then don’t rush into anything, because she might just be telling you what u want to hear in order to accomplish what she wants (to be able to "get you") ...

We do not have enough information on your girl, or your past with her though, so we do not know what kind of person she is, and/or what she is capable of, but I think that your best take would be to speak to HER about it and find out what’s going on in her head.

a lot of my posts have been about this, but I can sum it up one more time.

I was trying to impress this girl for a while and it didn't seem to be working so i gave up. a few months later I found out she was totally into me. I made a move on her at prom and we made out literally right outside the dance room on a balcony. We began dating and it was alright, but she never treated me that well. she was nice but distant, probably because of family problems in her past, and she has trouble being close. anyways, we were together for a week at beach week and the first four days were fun (real fun, ) but the last three it seemed like she was pissed at everyone there, including me. she was sick of us. a week after beach week she gave me"the talk". We were on my boat and she said she wanted to be friends. I asked why and she said that i was a good kisser, great in bed, fun to be around and in general awesome. But she just didn't like me like that, no spark. But she really really wanted to still be friends.

I saw her a lot less after that and we kept in touch, barely. Lately she has been pestering me. When I got in a fight with my parents I said I might leave home for a week. It wasn't gonna happen, but she sent me a message saying that she heard that and she was worried about me. Then when I got in a fender bender she sent me a message the next day that said "Hey honey, hows life today?" these things just made me question whether or not she wants to be more than friends. she also hugs people a lot, she hugs EVERYONE. But when she has been hugging me goodbye lately, it seems like she wants more, like leaving her hand on my chest or back a little too long.

What I think...

Well from what you just said, it seems to me like she wants u in more of a sexual way as appose to a "relationship" way.... I cant think of 1 valid reason that she would suddenly want a relationship with you... the closes thing to a valid reason that I can think of is that she thought about things, thought about u, and realised that you a great guy etc etc, but that reason just cant seem to convince me that its the sexual thing that she wants from you... it just makes so much more sence.

So if you ask me, I think its the sexual stuff she wants from you, but then again, I might be wrong, so dont go jumping to conclusions because of what I think/say, its just my opinion based on what you have told us

Man, she invited you to her house, told you that she wanted the both of you to get drunk, and "make something happen"... I dont see how anyone could give you any more obvious hints that she wants you to have sex with her.

So if I were you, I would just let things happen, text her saying "You still got that rum? *wink*" or something along those lines, and see what she replies. But I dont think there is a need to ask her anything, she has made it pretty clear what she wants, now all you need to do is act upon it (eg: show that you are "game" and go over there and "do the deed")
