Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

I'm going to train to increase my strength but I would like to do the shortest workout possible.

Is it true that we can cut down on our rest time if we do sets of exercises that our completely different from one another back to back?

for instance would I be able to shorten my rest period if i do a set of deadlifts right after a set of bench press, or have a set of chin ups follow a set of squats?

And how short would i be able to make the rest period between those sets be?

thanks in advance!

Mark Rippetoes Starting Strength

Monday Workout A
Squats 3x5
Bench 3x5
Deadlift 1x5

Wednesday Workout B
Squats 3x5
Overhead Press 3x5
Powercleans or Pendlay Rows & Chin Ups 3x5

Friday Workout A
Squats 3x5
Bench 3x5
Deadlifts 1x5

The sets do not include warmups. Increase weight by 5-10lbs when you can get 3x5 with good form.

Well I usually alternate compound and isolation exercises. Doing several compounds after another with no rest seems like it would knock the wind out of me.

Usually takes between 30 mins to 1 hour. Expect duration spent to go up as you begin to load up further
