I haven't posted in a long time and I thought it was time to share. (from the book How to win friends and Influence

people)

You shouldn't be doing this just for women rather to improve/upgrade yourself as a MAN. Stop, wait and realize that

if you are a friendly/cool/hip person , you will automatically attract like minded people.

1. Don't criticize, condemn or complain

2. Give honest, sincere appreciation

3. Arouse in the other person an eager want

4. Become genuinely interested in other people

5. Smile

6. Remember that a person's name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language

7. Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves (girls are already good at talking about them lol )

8. Talk in terms of the other person's interests

9. Make the other person feel important.

Now keep in mind and don't take everything literally, some of the above are general pointers which should be moulded according to the situation

Don't be dumb and end up using these to turn into a beta. These are some powerful pointers which will raise your

actual value use them wrong and game over.

Agree & Amplify. Yes, And. Start with common ground of agreement before expressing dissent.
Law 9: Win through your Actions, Never through Argument
Any momentary triumph you think gained through argument is really a Pyrrhic victory: The resentment and ill will you stir up is stronger and lasts longer than any momentary change of opinion. It is much more powerful to get others to agree with you through your actions, without saying a word. Demonstrate, do not explicate.

Law 13: When Asking for Help, Appeal to People’s Self-Interest, Never to their Mercy or Gratitude
If you need to turn to an ally for help, do not bother to remind him of your past assistance and good deeds. He will find a way to ignore you. Instead, uncover something in your request, or in your alliance with him, that will benefit him, and emphasize it out of all proportion. He will respond enthusiastically when he sees something to be gained for himself.

Where I come from, we call such people "nice". I say that not to denigrate your list, I say that to demonstrate that where I live, the word "nice" is not generally used as an insult.

I think your list, and the book you got it from, would be very helpful for people looking to improve their social skills. Unlike what many on this forum believe, it is not necessary to act like an @sshole in order to get respect from people or interest from women. Quite the opposite, in fact.

You are right brother but we, nowadays don't use the word nice. Minds have changed, vocabulary has gone out of the window. People are like YOLO all the time lol

I remember seeing this in movies sometimes "a guy goes on data with a fat chick and his friends ask, how was she ? he responds "she was nice" and they are like oh shiet""

So I was trying to avoid that. There is a thin line between beta and being a nice person, which many fail to understand and can't understand why they end up in friend zone.

What I am saying is that where I live, a fairly conservative town in the midwest, people are still using the word "nice" in the old fashioned way. And I say this from my observation of young people (in their 20s), not old geezers like myself. Girls are clearly describing boys they are into (yes, sexually) as "nice". "I like him, he's nice" or "He's so nice".

They are simply saying that he is a friendly guy with good social skills that is fun to be around. Now I don't know about the teenagers, because I don't see that many. Maybe they are using the word differently.

I am aware that in many parts of the US (and the world, I guess), the word has attained a different definition, meaning now "wimpy and boring" I guess. As in "Nice Guy". The internet is helping to spread this definition, and I imagine eventually maybe all of the old way of using the word will change. But where I live, that has not yet happened.

One of the things I get a kick out of doing, what with all the paranoia in the internet community around the word "nice", is to openly claim it. A lot of times girls will call me a "jerk" or an "@sshole" just because I am teasing them. But they are just joking with me, and I am not being a real jerk because they know I am just joking with them. I will usually tell them "Excuse me, I am probably the nicest guy you will ever meet". If they know anything about PUA material, they probably think then that I've never read any, lol. It's almost like a private joke with me, but I think you have to have supreme confidence to declare yourself nice, what with all the possible misinterpretations.

Yes, I agree.
I've done the same thing numerous times. I'd tease them and they'd call me a jerk and I'd look them in the eye and tell them that "I'm the nicest guy they'd ever met and they are insulting me" that makes em laugh more lol

I just hope the good old terms stay the same. Next thing you know women are using jerk and a55holes as terms of endearment and to describe their next husbands.

"I want my husband to be a jerk and an a55hole" when they mean "gentleman and nice" lol

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.
