"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Depends on your situation.

Firstly
You want to maintain some level of close contact. Unless you are really busy or gaming more then one girl, I would advise you see her at least once a week to progress things and keep you fresh in her head.

Secondly
What's fair for her is fair for you, if she wants to keep her options open and see other guys, let her know that's cool and tell her you WILL do the same.

If you keep showing her a great time she will gravitate towards you and demand more of your time. Keep it up and she will want you to stop seeing other girls and be exclusive. Girls are most attracted to the guys who give them the emotions they want.

I've been dating a girl for the past month and I'm just seeing her once a week. She is completely obsessed with me... and yeah, does keep demanding more time with me. She has been getting a little antsy about it because she always invites me out and stuff... (I usually don't care enough).

Now she is using sex and different things to try to get me into a relationship with her... or to spend more time with her.

They will try to bribe you but remember to hang in there!

Tempest,

In the beginning see the girl once a week and talk with her on the phone once a week as well, but only to setup the next meeting or date. Read Anti-Dump's posts on this subject.

What's fair for her is fair for you, if she wants to keep her options open and see other guys, let her know that's cool and tell her you WILL do the same.
No! No! No! Don't tell her that it's okay for her to see other guys. You have to demonstrate to her that you're the best guy she could ever date and that's what she'll want to do. This isn't about what's fair or what is or should be equal. If she's seeing multiple guys right now...NEXT HER! IMMEDIATELY!

YOU'RE THE PRIZE AND WON'T PLAY SECOND FIDDLE TO ANYONE! EVER!

If you want to, tell her that you're seeing multiple girls. Be confident and unapologetic about it. A woman would rather share a winner than a have a loser all to herself.

If you're seeing multiple women and don't want to tell her, just say, "What do you think?" if she asks. She'll assume you are.

Don't become exclusive until YOU ARE READY, no matter how much pressure the girl puts on you.

Go get her!

Cheers,
Mav

If you have just started seeing the girl, you cannot expect or demand she not see other men. The fact that she is single and has accepted your advance is indication she is highly likely to be casually or have been casually accepting dates from other men.

This is normal for single women. Until you you have established yourself as the prize TO HER, (i.e. she does not have high IL in you). Telling her she can't do this or that, or any other sort of controlling behaviour UNTIL she recognises you as a catch will make you appear whiny and push her away.

i.e.

You: I don't like you smoking. Stop or I'm gone.
Low IL girl: Fcuk you, I love to smoke, pi$$ off then. (Screw him, he's not worth the effort, there are other guys who want me)

You: I don't like you smoking. Stop or I'm gone.
High IL girl: Really? I'm sorry, I'll try and stop ok? (I've never met a guy like this before, he's special and I don't want to lose him)

I agree that at the point where you are getting serious with a girl then you are in a position to bargain with her i.e. If she wants you then she MUST give in to your requirements to have you.

Anyway the fact of the matter is, once you have raised a girls IL skyhigh, she will do almost anything to get your time and keep you. As in Tempest's example above.

Remember attraction is about her 'perception' of you. Be as much of a prize you want, but if you want the girl, she has to think so too.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
