Putting your thoughts out there VS waiting to be asked about your thoughts

I have always thought, personally, that putting your thoughts out there is not only a good way to get exposure and make similar people wanna connect and cooperate in different aspects, but it is also an active way.

Sitting and waiting to be asked, I guess, works only for the people who are well known for sth already. Which one do you prefer more and use more? Why? Which one seems to work best for you and how?

On the forum it's good, on a date not so much.

As a general rule, never volunteer info to women, only answer questions. Let her do 70% of the talking.
