push ups before bed?

Is there any benefit to doing a few push ups right before you go to sleep? im saying like 4 to 5 sets of 20?

If it doesn't interrupt your sleep, you should be fine. But try to find some time during the morning/day to workout.

Correct me if i'm wrong but if you do a bunch of exercises then go to sleep, aside from being good at push-ups you are going to be burning muscle if you don't atleast eat something afterwards.

I did them when I had a bout of insomnia on my teacher's recommendation. Pushups before bed helped wear me out, but the situps...kept me awake. I don't have these sleep problems anymore.

I randomly do like 10 pushups whenever. It's not going to harm a thing unless you're planning to do hundreds before bed. PWO pushup nutrition.. hahahahaha... I don't know why you'd want to do 4-5 sets of 20. Why so many?

As long as you eat a good dinner I can't see how doing 100 pushups is goi9ng to burn much if any muscle. It just won't burn that much calories anyway. The only thing you have to worry about is the sleep thing.

Dunno why, i was listenin to the timbaland instrumental of Bounce. And all sudden wanted to do pushups. lol. Did 80 and went to sleep. kinda funny.

felt good but tired, cuz i went to gym that same day.

I personally can do 48-51 in a row @ 203 lbs. My twig-looking friend does about 81 in a row.
