"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

So... after that long discussion her and I had, she immediately messaged me the next day..what do you guys think..

GIRL (12:15:15 PM): Not angry but I wanted to stick my tongue out at you in a playful way...social hiatus symptom

ME (12:21:17 PM): was on the phone for a bit... but oh yes, ive heard of the dreaded social hiatus symptom -- i heard in some cases it is nearly uncurable

GIRL (12:21:49 PM): I don't believe that

ME (12:21:56 PM): impossible

ME (12:22:54 PM): Did you do anything fun yesterday? Wear green? Pinch people? Look for lucky charms in random Irishmen's pants?

GIRL(12:24:19 PM): not impossible.. in fact... in 1458 an Australian professor by the name of Blarney McSocializes was stricken down in a small town in Congo

GIRL (12:26:27 PM): the Congo AND Australia weren't even formed in 1458

GIRL (12:27:01 PM): And a Australian named McSocializes? Never

ME (12:29:01 PM): Good point. well, yes. originally he was living in London. His surname was indicative of his families ability to leave ireland for better things. but was ostrocized because of his heritage--hence the triggering of the dreaded "social hiatus"

ME (12:29:13 PM): i said that with my monocle on, by the way

GIRL (12:31:07 PM): Caught that, that was definitely the monocle speaking

ME (12:32:50 PM): i painted my monocle green for st. pattys day

GIRL (12:33:35 PM): So you can't see through it?

ME(12:34:41 PM): i wish i realized that before i was blindesided by the CTA bus

GIRL (12:35:20 PM): So you never answered my questions...

GIRL(12:35:39 PM): Did you do anything fun yesterday? Wear green? Pinch people? Look for lucky charms in random Irishmen's pants?

ME (12:38:13 PM): yeah, a group of us went to a slew of places on Lincoln, im still feelin it..sorta cloudy right now

ME (12:40:43 PM): Know what you mean, drinking on school nights doesn't do well the next day. I was home by 6:30 and in bed by 9, it was fabulous.

GIRL (12:44:47 PM): ah, congrats.

GIRL (12:47:36 PM): Not that sarcasm isn't typical of you, but "ah, congrats" sounds like "ah, whatever. I don't care what you did." Am I wrong?

ME (12:50:56 PM): nah, that's not it.. im just supporting your new hermity ways 150% and you can't fall off the wagon this soon. I'm being a pillar of support

GIRL (12:51:34 PM): Calling BS

ME (12:55:02 PM): hey now.

ME(12:55:17 PM): are you saying you dont have faith in my faith in you?

GIRL (1:03:24 PM): whatever

ME (1:04:27 PM): so you dont care?

GIRL (1:10:24 PM): Care about whether or not you have faith in me? I mean "social hiatus", "hermity ways" sound like jabs, sound thick with bs.

ME (1:17:53 PM): is that your way of saying you want to put your social hiatus behind us?

GIRL (1:20:09 PM): How do you get that from what I wrote? And behind us? It's not about you and me it's about everyone and me.

ME (1:26:14 PM): i know it's about everyone and you.

ME (1:26:22 PM): it will always be about everyone and you

ME (1:26:29 PM): because youre apart of everyone

ME (1:26:58 PM): youre not in a vaccuum. and im sure i spelled that wrong

GIRL (1:27:22 PM): no 2 c's, 2 u's is right

GIRL (1:29:15 PM): Damn, wrong. One c

GIRL(1:33:33 PM): Anyway, I just think you're perturbed that I said I wanted to be by myself. That you think it's about you and it's not. I have moods, I'm an only child and VERY used to be alone so I have time when I just feel so surrounded by people and my energy level can't hold up. Honestly, it zaps me to be around people, that's just how I operate. Not that you asked for any insight into me but you got some nevertheless

ME(1:49:31 PM): that sounds hypocritical to me.

ME (1:49:47 PM): why would anyone else but me occupy my world

ME (1:50:22 PM): ssince you make it seem like the only person that occupies yours is you

GIRL (1:50:42 PM): I don't think you're understanding what Im saying at all

GIRL (1:53:08 PM): I'm not understanding what your saying... why would anyone else occupy my world and I'm making it seem like I'm the only one occupying mine? What does that mean?

ME (1:56:25 PM): im trying to say that

ME (1:56:41 PM): you think that i think that this is about me and im trying to tell you that's not the case

GIRL(1:57:07 PM): then why don't you just say that

GIRL (1:57:15 PM): geez

ME (1:58:30 PM): because i shot from the hip

TWO HOURS LATER

ME (3:39:34 PM): you didnt like shooting from the hip

GIRL (3:41:01 PM): I want you to say what ever works best for you, I just was NOT understanding

ME(3:42:35 PM): gotcha

GIRL (3:44:29 PM): Filled out any brackets for NCAA?

[10 minutes of small talk ensues to keep things nice, then..]

ME (4:21:23 PM): i want to tell you that

ME (4:21:35 PM): i dont care if you want time to yourself

ME (4:21:48 PM): but i felt the way and timing you went about it was all wrong.

ME (4:22:18 PM): in the last week youve suggested youve been biting your lip about something and to me that tells me you dont trust me

ME (4:22:31 PM): even though weve dated for a month (talked for longer)...

ME (4:22:36 PM): helped you apartment hunt

ME (4:22:42 PM): and even made out with you after eating taco bell

ME (4:22:53 PM): (last one is most important, obviiously)

ME (4:22:57 PM): also

ME (4:23:07 PM): i dont think it was a big deal to tease you about it

ME (4:23:18 PM): because you didnt act like it was a big deal to tell you about it

ME (4:24:06 PM): tell me about it, rather

GIRL (4:31:32 PM): I will always act like things arent a big deal (defense mechanism) and trust is something that doesn't come easy to me.

GIRL (4:32:45 PM): My timing? Almost always bad but when I feel the need to say things I disregard whether or not the timing works...it's more important to me to say what I want

GIRL (4:35:36 PM): Helping me apt hunt I appreciate more than you know and making out post Taco Bell feasting is a necessity, how else was I supposed to get a taste of that stuft chicken burrrito?

ME (4:36:57 PM): i also wanted to say that

ME (4:37:08 PM): ive always felt bad about not calling you for days after we initially had sex

ME(4:37:38 PM): i meant to do it earlier, but got really really busy with work. its not an acceptable excuse, but i apologize for it, regardless

GIRL (4:39:42 PM): Actually, never a problem with me because a precendent was set of us talking/seeing each other about once a week or so.

GIRL (4:42:06 PM): Speaking of, I do really feel uncomfortable with the fact that we did sleep with each other so quickly. Not that it wasn't fun, its just that the anticipation and other various steps were missed and that sucks.

ME (4:43:22 PM): im glad you brought that up. it may sound like a surprise, but i feel uncomfortable with it too, actually

GIRL (4:47:11 PM): don't know what to say. glad you feel the same, that's always a good thing. just no way to remedy

ME (4:54:43 PM): does that mean youre closing the door on it?

GIRL (4:56:00 PM): how do you mean?

ME (4:59:28 PM): no remedy. i need to know what you meant by that so i can know if i am wasting my time by continuing to pursue you

GIRL (5:10:57 PM): I mean no remedy on being uncomfortable about sleeping with each other so soon. It already happened so can't remedy it.

ME (5:14:39 PM): i have a meeting to go to.. call me when you feel like company

Then she called me at 11am the next day to ask me for some directions to a store and ended it with "Well talk soon?"

I know its a bit long winded, but what do you guys think.. is she still interested, or just dotting the i's and crossing the T's?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Interested but not sure. Back off a little. Make her more interested by being a challenge and less available.

ignore her for about 2 weeks. I have used this before and this girl got so aggravated by it she would call like 7 times a day until around week 2, I answered. She seemed suprised that I answered. She started *****ing and I told her that I would hang up if she didn't stop. She stopped. I told her I was extremely busy with work and didn't find a convenient time to call her. I could tell she didn't buy it but she accepted it. I went over to her apartment, tamed her cat and she didn't complain for a while because I used classic conditioning on her. Piss me off and I won't give you any attention. She has learned but sometimes needs a reminder by some ignoring for a day or two. btw its easier to do this if you have more than 1 girl you are messing with.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

If I was up your ass you'd know
don't talk to her on MSN, its an attraction killer, i promise. Plus you were reading into everything she says so much, your taking things to serious for only dating a month. Im not sure but it sounds like your relationship is to formal (made plans on the amount to see each other, worried about the amount of time until you guys fvcked and the norms of dating, just go with the flow), not relaxed and fun.

Just don't chat on MSN anymore and stop reading into everything she says so much.
