"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

so i was hooking up with this girl (shes a 10) for a good 2 or 3 weeks. over spring break, we didn't talk much or at all. she came back and i played a little hard to get with her and i thought it looked like it was working.

so the other night i was hanging out with her at my place and messing around. as soon as i went in for the kiss, she turned away which is a first. i acted a little ****y and told her to stop messing around, but she then said 'i can't do this.' her reasoning was she was 'still deciding' our fate. i told her it was just for fun, and she came back with 'well it's only fun until feelings get into it and we ruin our friendship.'

she claims she likes me a lot, but is still unsure of how she wants things to be. what confuses me more is this girl basically calls me everyday and usually seems to be digging me.

what do you think this means/what should i do?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

date other women. ignore this girl for a while and let her think about it. maybe she'll come around, but maybe you'll be having such a great time that you don't even care!

Agreed. I think you very well may have her, but the way to lose her is by continuing to put pressure on her. You haven't done anything wrong at all yet, but if you go into "waiting for you" mode, she'll be much less likely to decide she wants you. Try to work a little jealousy to your advantage or something, something to give her a kick in the ass.

"Bench," the ***** and prepare to "release her from the team." Start scouting for new prospects.

This sounds almost exactly like a situation I was in. I was "seeing" this girl, but we weren't in a relationship. She was all over me, calling and texting all the time, then one day I went to kiss her and she said "we shouldn't" and backed off. I told her fine and walked off. She caught up with me and explained her doubts and concerns.

Anyway, I decided to make her decision for her and backed off. I didn't flirt and treated her like a friend. Next thing I know, she's in the palm of my hand.

Generally, when a girl is undecided, back off and let her see what she stands to lose.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Holy crap, I forgot about this line! I haven't heard that in years.

I agree with Jariel. Women who pull this indecisive crap should be dropped down a notch. Date other women, but continue to be "buddies" with this chick. Take her out once in a while to do fun things, but don't view them as dates. Ignore some of her phone calls. Tell her about other women who are interested in you and ones you've dated. Continue to flirt and use kino on her, but don't be pushy about taking it to the next level. She'll kiss you when she's ready.

Sometimes, you need a bit of patience to have a girl "come around". In the end, it's usually worth it.
