psychological exams

I'm a graduating engineering student.

A company was doing campus hirings on our university.

In the mathematics test I aced it. 29 correct out of 30 items. But I failed on the behavioral exams.

This has been the second time in which I failed a psychological exam for a job. The first one was for a management trainee position for a national bank.

Not that I was interested for the position offered but it was a bit frustrating and humiliating. I am beginning to think that there must be something wrong with me.

Does anyone know how to beat these psychological tests that companies give?

I always lie on them and try to give the correct answer according to what the company would want to hear.

A remark from my friend's parent:
"So the kid does not know how to lie."

So the company was a electronic parts manufacturing firm and the position was a production engineer.

My teachers say that most of these manufacturing companies look for people are willing to give sacrifices. Are they right?

I dont know. I always figured it was a test to see if your gonna steal **** or call out of work or be a slacker.
