The trade in magic mushrooms has been outlawed as well because some stupid ass tourists died because of it - of course nobody focused on the fact that they were already drunk as **** and died because of the combined effect. I've never read about anyone dying in this country because of proper use of shrooms. Politicians however are stupid, so because of pressure from outside countries (like France) the government gave in, despite reports from government-funded organisations which said there should be no reason to outlaw the shrooms.

There's also been a crackdown on coffee shops the last few years. Because polticians need a scapegoats to focus their problems on - like how customers would cause trouble, which is just ridiculous. Ever seen a stoner fight anyone?

The purchaser is under the delusion to some extent that, in addition to some kind of biological function, that they have achieved some sort of pathetic connexion with another human. What could be more cruel?

Argument 2. Society abhors just about any thing which renders a person unproductive, which is why vagrancy is criminalised, as is drunkeness, drug use etc.

Argument 3. In case it isn't obvious, the wives are the permanent employees, the wh*ores are the casual labour.

Argument 4 Some feminists say that all heterosexual sex is rape. Anything contrary to feminist theory is legislated against. Discrimination laws, pornography laws, laws limiting the inflow of mail order brides (males ordering brides).

Argument 5 Anything which is contrary to nature is opposed. See villification of gays, gay marriage, laws against incest, bestiality etc. Cross reference Leviticus with Koran, same old story.

Prostitution is basically legalized in most countries. Yes, even in America. What dumb Americans don't get is that there are a ton of laws that are rarely enforced. For all practical purposes they are legal. Prostitution is one of them. Same goes for all the losers who smoke pot. A real man skips pot and drinks a Martini while he gets ready to teach a hot young chick a lesson or two.
