Prom Screw Up - (Yes I know this is the 100th Prom Post)

Ill be honest that Im getting bored of seeing all the posts about, 'should I ask her' or 'how should I ask her' - but I know everyone starts somewhere and now its my turn but not in a typical situation.

So I know this girl and we have gone out a few times and I assumed we were going to prom, turns out she asks a guy she doesnt even know that well. Me = Pissed, She = Happy to get a guy.

Question is: Usually I would next her, heres the twist: She wants to go out this weekend and used words like 'alone', 'just us' and 'romantic'. Do I drop her over prom and forget this weekend or act like it I dont care?

Sorry to bring up Prom but this situation just has a twist that I cant work out if its worthwhile.

you dont care. if theres sex this weekend, get it. ask someone else to prom. if you dont have anything secured by then, ask her again. but dont be overwhelming

she probably wants to bone you so stay calm, confident, and in a mood that reads something like "dont **** this up but if you do life goes on"

Her decision was based on several factors. Considering how you have gone out a few times, it's safe to assume that if you didn't make any good attraction, you're simply stuck in the friend zone. Another factor: She's either really shy, or a real social butterfly. I doubt that a shy girl would just ask any ol' guy, so I'll assume she's the social butterfly.

If anything, don't get too worked up about it. If she is just playing with your head, don't let her get to you. If she isn't messing with you, then all the more reason to just let it go. Find somebody else to take to prom, and next time, just ASK instead of ASSUMING.

Screw prom fool, you're gonna get a girlfriend. Just go with a friend, and DANCE WITH HER WHILE YOURE THERE. YOU MUST DO THIS!!!!!!!!

It is imperative that you HAVE FUN at prom. You can get her later.

you can't assume with women, you probably should have asked HER before she asked this guy. Either way, it doesn't mean she isn't still interested in you, you are just not the only one. Don't sweat it, just be more attractive than the other guy and you win.
