This might seem rather unimportant but these 2 words that were said to me at work today really fvcked my whole head up.

So I was talking with HB6(20yrs old) and HB9(17yrs old) was standing next to her. Anyway at the end of our convo the HB6 congratulates me on something I did and says(this sh!ts me right up:mad: )...."Good BOY"

Fvck I'm 19yrs old(although I look younger) and she says good boy INFRONT of a chic I'm trying to impress! I would've liked "good MAN" not BOY!!!

You think HB9 will think of me as some little immature kid now or what??

Again I'm probably overanalyzing here, but would like to here some opinion. anyway to redeem myself now that I'm a BOY..

My whole day was good until those 2 little words were said to me, fvcked up my whole day, devastated......

like to hear some opinions, thanks.

Not even a molehill, actually.

That was a little term of endearment and not intended as any slight whatsoever. It was the same as her calling you honey, sweetie, or love buns. Get it?

Just like when I used to call my gf "my little fvck girl." I certainly wasn't saying that she was merely a girl and not a woman.

Or, when a woman calls you a "bad boy." She doesn't mean that you are an immature "boy" at all. Same with this, dude.

You might have even responded with something like "hey, I'm your boy!!!!" Or, your boy has done good!

Btw, the 6 really digs you. That comment is VERY endearing and one of familiarity and rapport.

When I was a child, there was this girl who used to call me "kiddo." In my insecure youth, I wrongfully took it as a slight, as you do now. "Who is SHE to call ME a "kiddo!!!!" How DARE she!"

But, now that I am a man, I've put away childish things ... I should have fvcked that woman blue.

Phew!!! prosemont thanks for your advice, I was worried about what the HB9 would've thought after that "good boy" comment.

Yeah I thought that HB6 liked me for a little while now(I never had any problems bagging 6ers) but I wanna raise my game now and pull some hotties.

It means **** that she called you Good Boy (atleast in negative terms...) It's just like when girls call you cute... Boys HATE being called cute but for girls it's just a way to show endearment and that they like you.

you know what? I wasn't gonna say what was on my mind because from reading what you typed ... you would of probably commited suicide but I just can't hold myself.

You are here since, 11-14-2003 that's almost a month for you and you STILL want to 'impress' girls? **** is wrong with you? Haven't you learned anything at ALL since you registered?

If your day was ruined because she said 'good boy', chances are YOU ARE a ****in boy for letting your spirit fall flat so hard. I heard ppl on the edge of suicide because they approach so many girls but can't be successfull and guess what? YOU'RE WORST THAN THEM!!!

impress? pfff, you ARE a little boy for being so insecure about such trifle. You're 19 and got your ego shot down by a 17 year old? Have your balls even dropped yet???

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
