"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

So does anyone have any pre date rituals like something they do to get in the "zone" before a date. best way i can explain is like Nic Cage in gone in 60 seconds where before he starts boosting the cars he listens to Low Rider by War.

For myself it is going to the gym to do my usual regime then a Scottish shower straight after followed by a cut throat razor shave ( I do this daily myself anyways ) a spray of ADG by Armani and a certain pair of jocks. I don't know why but it all seems to just put me in the zone gets me in a wicked mood and ready for anything.

I'm not looking for advise just a question that came to mind to see what everyone else gets up to.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Good routine man!

Love prepping for a date...but I'm worse than some chicks when it comes to getting prepared

Do some core work, bench or push ups, curls, 30 minutes or 4 miles of running prior to the date. I will also eat something bland, with Gatorade, so my breath doesn't stink.

I won't shave for few two days if I know the date is coming up. Something about getting that super close shave and looking 5-10 years younger than you really are.

Long hot shower, man scaping, blasting a good mix of smooth jazz, heavy metal, and motown on my ipod dock. This is a goddamn event. lol.

I will browse GQ catalogs and look for a particular casual look and try to piece something together with the clothes I already have, or hit the mall and try to find something cool.

John Varvatos is my choice of cologne. Every woman I've hooked up with has loved the smell and wondered what it was.

Mouthwash for at least 3 minutes, gargle and floss. Make sure to bring gum.

After all of this, I am good to go. I feel confident and looking my best. That confidence shows itself in the course of the date. I know I look good, and project that attitude, and women love that confidence. Even if you aren't the best looking guy in the room, if you feel that way, women will pick up on it and love the vibe you are putting out.

that's exactly it man! it is like a failsafe that puts a spring in your step and gives you a really good and confident attitude. and as you said women pick up on that for sure, also doesn't hurt to smell and look clean haha.

Guys some tips on colognes:

This is an absolute lady killer. Every f***ing girl has loved this cologne: Creed Aventus. I think it smells pretty good, though not my favorite. Girls f****ing love it, though. It's pretty expensive, however. $330 dollars for a bottle. Can be worn through any occasion and weather.

If Creed Aventus is too expensive, look into Bleu de Chanel. Ladies love that, too. Can be worn throughout the year and any occasion.

If you're going clubbing and want to catch the attention of the ladies there and want something that will cut through all the other colognes and smells at the club, look into Dior Homme Intense, Pure Malt, or Paco Rabanne One Million.

cheers applegoo I am only starting my adventures into the world of scents. But when i start my new position as a bakery manager in a few weeks and earning a good wage ( yay for no longer being on apprentice wages haha ) I will be taking a few girls ( on separate occasions ) along on a shopping date and getting a few top shelf scents and some new clothes.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

No problem. If you get Creed Aventus, no more than 3 sprays. It's known to cause olfactory fatigue to the person wearing it, so even if you don't smell it on yourself, everyone else around you is smelling it.

Girls love Armani AdG, too. But every guy wears that, and girls might associate AdG with an ex or something.

I shower and put on clothes every day, so I'm pretty much good to just walk out the door whenever.
