"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

This is a question for all the guys preparing to begin bootcamp.

A little while ago I was out shopping at Target and I saw this really attractive blonde girl. She was looking at some items in one of the aisles. I walked right past her and only said excuse me.

How would you strike up a conversation in that situation?

Would you be direct or indirect?

A lot of the more experienced DJ's recommend getting over approach anxiety before you should even worry about getting somewhere with girls.

I was thinking of being direct and chatting her up for a few minutes before asking for her number. Is direct the right approach or is it better to be sly and try to find some reason to talk to her?

What would you have done?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Tyler (co-founder of RSD) says to just find one opener that works for you, and use it in every situation, and not use situational ones, so i'd try to think of something that works for me.. unfortunately, nothing works for me yet. haha

I'm not a big fan of Tyler's. At least from what I know of him. His openers that I have heard sound too fake.

Tyler: Hey guys, do girls find David Bowie Attractive?

I think it's better to be spontaneous (sp?) but then again I don't have any better openers either.

I have the DYD interview series where David interviews Tyler. That was about the only opener on there but to me it seemed lame. But hey, I don't don't know much up PU yet.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Sure that sound odd...she probably thinks "Why the heck he was thinking so much - is it a survey or what?"

Anyway, David D suggested to have at least one opener (sure preferabe several ones) that you will use fi nothing comes to your mind. I guess he suggested "Are you single?" And Puglsey even wrote a huge BC journal based on this one short opener...

Somebody (I forgot who) post this idea:
Follow her a few feet from the side, i.e. walk in the same direction at the same level as she does...dont smile. Get Some EC, but dont smile. After you got EC or after just some short time if she doesnt produce ay EC simple walk up to her (you still will be walking) with "Are you following me?" Smile :)
It is goofy of course, but at least you won't get uptight girls...
The bad part is she has to answer "No", it would be much better if she has to answer "Yes"...

A totally old, but still working I believe "[Hey]...You look kinda familiar...<Come up with something that gives her a compliment indirectly>Did you take part in 2002 marathon in YYY city? Do you go to XXXX gym next to ZZZ ice creamery where they sell the best ice cream in this town?
