“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Hi. I've heard the usual 'protein before training and carbs after' but I'm unsure about how this fits into my routine.

I typically train between 9pm and 10pm, going to bed at about 11.30pm. I'm always told no carbs before bed so I'm in a bit of a conflict.

What should I be having before and after training? Would it affect any type of fat loss (I'm very gradually losing weight) or muscle building?

Cheers.

You can have carbs after training if you want, a mix of fast and slow carbs or just slow ones if you want to be extra careful. Unless you're cramming in 200g of sugar post workout you shouldn't have a problem.

Before training depends on you.. some people feel like **** with carbs pre-workout (go hypo during training) and prefer protein and fats. But if you normally have carbs before training have them here as well.

So even though I'll be sleeping fairly soon after training, the fact that I have been training will mean I should absorb the carbs quite efficiently?

So long as you didn't do a "go to the gym, and talk on my cellphone while sitting on the bicep machine for two hours" routine, yes.

I had always thought you need the carbs before so you have the energy to work out, then the protein afterwards to replenish your muscle repair.

Well yes, carbs give you energy but some people find that it makes them crash during the workout. Others do better with carbs pre-workout.

And yes, protein is paramount pre post and even during workout. Carbs are helpful at all these times but NOT essential. But post workout they're most important.
