On occasion, I notice aspiring DJ's mentioning how they "practice" thier newfound DJ skills on generally unattrative women. Less frequently do I see comments on the disasterous and unproductive possibilities this can have on a man who is already having hard luck with the ladies.
True, some do need practice with social skills, which can be developed through both men and women of any age at almost any place and any time. This tip, however, is for the guy who thinks practicing this new advice on less attractive women is a good way to begin the process of over coming fears and developing onward towards Don Juaness...
Risks Vs. Rewards
There are no absolutes. And so I am not going to bash this practice. There will be some who will say, "Chili, I've done it, and I turned out just fine!" Lucky for you! My only goal here is to make the aspiring DJ aware of the risks in such an approach, and why they are foolish risks at that.
There are many reasons why applying DJ practices effective in attracting pretty women can have a negative effect when applied to undesired women.
Let us count the ways....
1) Less desired women are usually accustomed to interacting intimately with thier male equals and vice versa. When this trend is broken, there is a reason for boasting. It is why an average man will feel a rousing victory when he scores his first hot babe. So goes the same for an average women, a less than average women and a well below average woman. When she boasts, everything you've learned about 'social proof' is put into the crosshairs. Situations are created that will work against you.
2) A less desirable woman will shine one DJ tactic, yet always cloud another. As in point #1 above, becoming her 'prize' will have effects on social proof. Keeping her under wraps will rob you of practicing to be a fun date. Being a lame date effects keeping interest levels up, and so on and so on.
3) Less desirable women will not help the nice, clingy guy to tackle the subject of detatchment. You will naturally not feel the need to consume yourself with something you don't want. The idea is to learn how to not feel the need to consume yourself with somethig you DO want. Do you WANT a less desirable woman? If your answer is 'no', it is likely that you are not 'practicing' detatchment.
4) Less desirable women will often too easily say 'yes' to a confident man's advances. It does little to build a tolerance for rejection and critisism. It does not present enough of a challenge for you to learn and improve well enough to bag a hottie. You will seldom learn from mistakes.
5) Less desired women will more likely cling to the relationship. This means your practice session will not end as easily as you imagine it will. It may become a very dramatic scene, irregardless of how you handle it, and perhaps even be problematic long after you "thought" it was over. The last thing a DJ needs is an unattractive girl standing in the rain outside of the window you and your new girl are eating near...her mascara running... she's screaming "WHY?! Why did you SAY those things?!" (((shiver)))
This is simply part of the potential disasters and disadvantages you may take on when you try to avoid the 'no' of an attractive woman.
