No ripping it would work fine I usually search the web while I listen as its just him standing there really.

It has a biography on his website, but basically he's one of the least known but most well respected gurus in the community, although he doesn't consider himself a PUA or use any lines/tricks/gimmicks. Pretty much every other guru knows him and is a great admirer of his.

He has several thousand lays and runs a school for pornstars, in which he coahces them how to be good in bed....cool job huh?

He also seems like one of the most genuine, coolest and socially aware ppl I've ever seen....and I've never even met him!!

Johhny's stuff is good. And he's got some great theories on how attraction and relationship dynamics evolved over time.
he's a guy that has his own way of doing things. It may not be perfect for ME really. But the knowledge backing it up certainly is important to to consider.

Interesting videos, I like what he advocates about what people should strive.

Though I disagree with the word selfish, things that was heavily debated in Joekerr's "People are good" thread. I do believe there is an element that with the existance of empathy and compassion, people have an interest in others, some call it expansion of the self (thus selfishness), some call it a person just being in a matrix programed to keep their own view of being a good person, I believe that the element that people care, though I don't think alturistic is the correct word. Yes to being good to others as she said, but I wouldn't use the word selfish.

Another thing I find that I disagree with is his view on gender relations (wife as a contract wh0re) and monogamy. Interesting to see so many different views lately, Pook in his blog gave an interesting counter argument with the biology argument. I like to think people are capable to being monogamous, though he have a point of a relationship of unrealistic requirements like no pornography could lead to the person just cheating (reminds me of the historical use of capital punishment, when it was used for small things, all it did was created a mentality if I'm gonna die for theft, might as well kill the owner). Also if biology argument is going to be thrown around, what about the complexity and monogamy correlation? If he is saying that it is unrealistic for a couple to stay together (married or not), I disagree, for the fact there been many couples historically and I know couples that been together for years and got it work. Also I think there more than just sex that is important in a marriage/monogamy.

The "virtue of selfishness", old Ayn Rand book you may have read. Selfishness is expanding yourself, altruism is sacrificing yourself. The word has a bad meaning but everything we do is in our own best interest, even if that's the good feeling from helping others. Might as well feel good about it than suffer for it. So if you're doing something good because it just feels right, that's selfish, if you're doing something good but getting all pissed off and angry because you're not getting a payoff, then you're sacrificing yourself for that payoff. It's not coming from the right place.

Pretty immature for 31 I gotta say. He's very well respected and liked by pretty much every guru in the community, probably including the ones you follo or admire. If you watch these tapes and can't tell he's legit, then you're thick as well as envious.
