This thread has been brought up before, and had the same warning posted in it before. Many, many, many 'robots' scour the web searching for email addresses posted on public message boards that are viewable to non-members. They find these names, put them on a list, then distribute the list to hundreds of spammers. These spammers send spam, then distribute their lists even further.
