"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

first kiss with a girl turned into a make out session. She seemed real eager and into it [I initiated of course]...but then the next day she started to be aloof around me..didn't call, didn't talk to me on msn (as in she was "online" but didn't start a conversation)

we were friends from the start, and Im thinking she may be a bit shocked from all of it..could she be regretting what she allowed herself to do? should I ask her about that night?

yah, this sounds real AFC of me, but heck she's pretty hot and i'd like to keep going if possible..any input guys?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

i cant believe you are 23 years old and posting a message like this.

Personally i think shes playing hard to get, ignore her and act like nothing happened is the best advice anyone can give you. dont igoring her like she doesnt exist, ignore her like shes not important in your life. Keep it light and not serious.

She had to like ya enough to kiss you in the first place, so dont worry so much. Relax and remain confident in yourself.

This reminds me of a movie...50 first dates.

She's playing the ignore game. She is evaluating what she did/etc... What you should be doing is..disappearing. She will most likely be the first one to contact you. Chat up shortly and try to setup a date.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

It's called Buyer's Remorse.

You haven't established enough emotional rapport with her. She may have been hot and horny, but she doesn't have enough emotional investment in you to continue it. This is why girls can make out in clubs and leave, but feel "nothing" the next day.

Now,

A) It could have been REALLY on in which case you should have pressed further, but if it needed more time...
B) You should have pressed back saying, "Hey, I need more trust, comfort, and connection" so she doesn't feel like a slut.

You shouldn't think of it as a woman's mind games or anything, this is simply how women work. The way they've been programmed by society NOT to appear as sluts, even though they have the some sexual desires and hornyness as guys.

I can't believe you're 20 and coming down on a guy who's trying to better himself like this.
and i cant believe you're 27 and coming down on a guy who's trying to smack some sense into someone.

Anyway thats a huge accomplishment losing the 120 pounds. I bet its a great feeling. Keep it off and stay in shape.

This is a great place for advice but just take everything with a grain of salt. No one truly knows the situation you are in. We all are giving a little input of how we feel you should access your situation.

Shorttime.....i knew you were a two pump chump....
