This is probably a bit lengthy but probably necessary:
So i meet a girl at a bar and we hit it off really well there. I mean we talked A LOT, not boring talk, just laughing/joking/flirting talk. She mentions she has a 2 year old son, which I'm ok with because she is drop-dead gorgeous.

I ask her to go to diner tomorrow and she gave an excited "YES! of course!" She says I'm cute and sweet and that she is picky about her guys blah blah. We eat diner, goes great, couple days later we go bowling with my friends, and she said she love to hang out more. Saturday morning she invites me to eat breakfast with her and her son, also goes great as she invites me to her place that night. Goes great, nothing to intimate, I'm not gonna push to fast b/c she seems to have a high guaurd. She sends me off with a hug, and invites back to watch walking dead/eat pizza with her family.

I go back the next night, have good time with the family. As I am leaving and go in for a kiss and she doesnt really kiss much back at all, I'm a little thrown by this, as it was a pretty simple/standard kiss.So i'm thinking she is not into me.

She texts me the next morning at like 7 30 joking about how she hit "off" instead of "snooze".
So now I'm thinking "ok, maybe that kiss wasnt as awkward as i thought". Later in the evening I address how I felt a little awkward as I left the night before. She says "no worries lol your fine!" and then this leads her into a texting convo about how bad her previous relationship was and how she has an "extremely" high guard and won't settle for anything less than she deserves. I acknowledged and sympathized with all of it. The next day I ask her if she's up for hanging out sometime this week. she replies "Yes! of course, but not till friday or saturday b/c of work and homework."

So friday (she had been texting me a lot all week) roles around and she texts me in the afternoon asking "what was up?" and tells me she is gonna get drinks with a friend and then hit me up to meet up later. She never sends me a text later that night and I chalk it up to forgot, phone dead, or blowing off. I don't say anything till the next day, a simple "Hey, hows it going?" but no response.

Then, I don't say anything till the next evening where I say "Hey I'm not sure if u are ignoring me or maybe your phone is broke, in which case this text prolly seems kinda silly.." still no response. So a couple hours later I say, "Hey, if you don't wana talk anymore that's fine but can I at least have an explanation?"...still no response. Monday afternoon she says "I wasnt ignoring you, my phone was wet and this is the first I have turned on since" Immediately I'm embarrassed. I text her apologizing saying how embarrased I was and admit that if she thought less of me for it, I wouldn't blame her. No responses. So 5 days later I text "hey, did you get your phone situation figured out?" and still no response.

Is she turned off by me calling her out? I mean it wasn't completely unreasonably to assume that. A mistake yes, but an honest mistake and I was pretty tactful about it. I would hope a girl would have the ability to see two perspectives here, right? We got along really well and we have a lot in common. I know she must have been somewhat interested in me and she knows I'm a genuine guy and she loves the fact I was born and raised in the country and that I have my **** together occupation/academic wise. so what now??? stay off the chase??

I'm sure you are a nice guy, but when a woman doesn't text you back you wait for her to text you. You can text her again in a week or so, but that's it. You most likely blew it with this one, by being needy. The only shot you have with this one is to not text her again unless she texts you again. If she does text you back ask for advice on this board before you text her back. You have a lot to learn, start reading the boards. Good luck

oh boy, you messed up.

when a girl doesn't text you back you just stop texting until she either texts you back or you have a reason to text her again

you certainly don't do... that. that's one of those things that should be best kept in your head and/or asked about on forums

the idea is that if you're going to be desperate and needy... atleast don't show it

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

The biggest red flag for me was introducing you to her kid on the second date or whatever it was. Fvck that.
I'd say you've dodged a bullet here, OP.
You made a lot of mistakes and, as the other guys said, 99% of the time, do not send consecutive texts without a reply from her.
If you must - and again as others said - leave it a week or so.
Stick around and please read the DJ Bible and Book of Pook.
You'll be miles ahead of where you are now after reading them.

apart from your frame being very weak i suspect one of two things has happened here

1) something betters come along/back into her life

2) her girlfriends have had an input on you and it hasn't gone in your favour

delete her number and never think of this attention w*ore again

What's funny is there's a thread on these boards arguing against my whole "Texting KILLS relationships" mantra - yet this thread perfectly demonstrates how guys end up screwing it up. You texted her everyday, then sent her an emotional text indicating you were getting too serious with her too soon. On top of that, you introduced a friend of yours into the dating scenario AND met the kid on the second date?? Ugh, so much to learn...

This doesn't prove that texting in general KILLS relationships. It proves that some guys are clueless when it comes to how to use text.

Yes...let the exception make the rule. Fallacious, much?
