"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Just heard on the news that its being considered whether or not to give couples that have lived together for over 2 years, but are not married, the same rights that married couples have. This means that everything each partner owns would be split 50/50, no matter who paid for what, in the event of a break up. I think this is only being considered in Britain as far as i know.

I think this is rediculous, how could you prove that you have been living in the same house for over 2 years. There's no legal bond between the partners so it makes no sense. Also its obvious some psycho attached wench would try and cheat the system and rid some poor man of his money lol

What are you views on this subject?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

its called common law marriage and up until now, each state dealt with it in their own little way.
some states said we don't recognize it here because you never were legally married , so when you split, divide your own crap even if you have to pay an attorney , and get your own attorneys to settle your child custody and support, but for the record you were just living together.
some other states said yes we recognize it here but only after 7 yrs of being together under the same roof and with children involved.
some other states said yes we recognize it here but the rule is one of you has to introduce the other of you as a spouse to someone. (example: hey coworker meet my wife... tada!) now you have to legally divorce and split things like you would in a normal divorce.

so for years, law officials have had to look at these people and think... here is a couple that pretended to be married but never had the guts to do it , took up homestead together, bought vehicles, furniture, a dog and a trailer and 2 stereos...and had some kids. they want to split up, but who gets what since they bought it together? who gets the kids?
and as ridiculous as it sounds, making them legally divorce is best all the way around once you look at it like this.

heres what is in it for the women: dividing the assets, child custody and support and finally being recognized for being "married " at the time of the divorce.

heres what is in it for the men: dividing the assets (where it doesn't all go to the woman), child custody (your chance for 50/50 or visitation) properly adjusted child support (where the woman can no longer just go sign up for a welfare check and tell them that you never supported your kid before, where they would seek you out and drag you to court and make it look like you never fed your kid ever)............... this means you can prove that you were just as present in the home as she was and you are not abandoning your child which could help you get primary custody, 50/50 custody or visitation and they won't be asking you to pay back support dating back to when the child was born, its just gonna start at the time of separation.)

hope this helps you decide if it is something that needs to be done.

in my own opinion and experience, i am for it in all states.
that isn't because i am a lady, it is because i have seen both men and women screwed over financially.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

How about you take what you came in with, split the rest and whoever wants the kids has to support them. Can't afford them? The world is full of people who want things they can't afford, so get in line.
