I started reading his book. A few questions. Did someone combine all his posts and make a book about it without his consent? Also, when Pook posted here, did he only start threads or did he also reply to other people's questions?

Thanks

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

From looking at the book, it does look like it was made after he had left the community.
Maybe they didn't want those good posts to go to waste or whatever. Either way, it's quite a useful source, so I'm glad I was able to read it.

The book has links to the posts that Pook made, so if you click on them you'll see that some are his own threads and some are replies to other people's threads. However, Pook seems to state that his posts were predominantly for himself so that he could get his head straight.

You need to be aware however that the internet and this community was much different in 2002.
